the Apec Futura 10 salt free conditioner allowed some hard deposits on the shower glass but performed better than not having it, we dont have to shampoo hair as much anymore, appliances that use water don't make any unfamiliar noises anymore, seems like its cleaning out the pipes b/c of odor.

After a number of years (four!) the RO system capacity had gone to about two liters to a cup before running out so I decided it was time (!) to replace the filters. I ordered the complete filter set and a new membrane, not realizing that the kit had one in it already. However, changing the filters did nothing for the capacity problem. After reviewing the literature, I removed the pressure tank and drained it. That didn't make an improvement so I removed it again and tried to check the bladder pressure. However, the valve does not appear to be like a tire valve as there is no center stem which is pushed in so my tire gauge would not work, I put my bicycle pump on the valve and gave it a couple of pumps during which I heard a ripping sound. After reinstalling the tank we have a capacity of one liter, so progress has been made. I still need to reach out to APEC and find out if the valve is defective and if Schrader valve will work.

This item should just come with all systems involving a UV filter in the first place. Why anyone would design a system that leaves a UV light on 24/7 that gets insanely hot is beyond my comprehension. Get rid of the constant power block that comes with the filtration systems and make this standard. . . not a 50$ add-on.

Love the unit but had 3 leaks when I first sent water to it. Hose to the PH and both elbows on either end of the big filters leaked. I was able to fix but added time re doing the connections, wasn't too happy about that but all is great now. 17-25 TDS water now, 250 ish before. Couldn't ask for better than that! (I do have the PH post filter)

I live in east central Florida & our drinking water is purified St. John’s River water (yuk)! I’ve been using this filter for five years, just replacing it for the first time recently (due to age, not bad taste) and the water along with my ice cubes are filtered and tastes fantastic. No chlorine, no mineral flavors, no fish flavors lol! Just nice clean water! I will continue buying this filter every 4 to 5 years and I recommend it to everyone!

Customer service suck literally I ordered a filter for my system and the filter did not work and I want to return it send a email and called them directly nothing for weeks so I called ebay and they did a dispute and they never responded to ebay so I got my money back .
