I have a mid century modern lamp that I need to change out the light socket on because it doesn't work correctly any more, but it has green felt on the bottom and I didn't want to cut into it or try to remove it because then the lamp would be ruined. I searched online for lamp base or something. I forget what exactly my search words were. Anyway I came across the Antique Lamp Supply and saw exactly what I needed. I haven't done the repair to the lamp yet, but the felt is nice and it seems to be almost an exact replacement. I'm glad I found it.
