I really like the cooker, but it makes very irritating noise when used. I think I would’ve not purchased the item had I known what kind of noise it makes.

There is always something wrong
There is always something wrong with the oven pr the app. Connection lost , app going black. Oven screen going black ( is fixed ) and the oven don’t see what food you put in. Manual is the oven working fine but all the fancy ai en app connection are not stable at this moment

Anova App
The wifi app is useless. It will NOT connect because my wifi is the normal 5Ghz (I don't have the 2. 4Ghz wifi) Wish I knew this before purchase.

The Anova Precision 2. 0 Oven
The Anova Precision 2. 0 Oven is an incredible upgrade overall, and we are thoroughly enjoying the new features. The primary reason we opted to replace our 1. 0 model with the 2. 0 was the built-in camera and the convenience of using guided recipes directly on the oven without the need to log in to a phone or the app. This feature alone has significantly simplified and enhanced our cooking experience. However, the camera’s food recognition could still be enhanced. While it functions, it doesn’t always accurately identify the food, which can impact the suggested cooking programs. If Anova refines this feature, the 2. 0 would easily earn a 5-star rating from me. In conclusion, it’s an exceptional oven that makes precision cooking accessible and enjoyable. I can only hope that the camera improves with future updates.

Things are different now from when I purchased the precision oven 1. Then it arrived quickly and no money was taken until the oven arrived. With the precision oven 2, I preordered in April, money was taken straight away and didn’t get the oven until July, but I do realize this is just another sign of a changing world and not all down to Anova. Oven is great. Love it and was packaged really well when it arrived. I have always thought Anova customer service could be better. Had some issues with my precision oven 1, so contacted customer service. Made it clear from the start that I knew my oven was too old to be under warranty, but just needed advice on the problem. No one answers a direct question. All they seem to do is select a standard reply from a list. You get the same one for any problem. After several messages and still getting no help and no sensible responses I gave up, let my husband loose on it and he fixed it. So, although the products are great my only criticism is that you could definitely improve the customer service side of things.

Whenever I have an issue I email support and get very quick responses and satisfactory resolution. My v2. 0 oven shipped two months after I purchased it and a month and half after the estimated date, but I knew it was a preorder and not in stock. Usually whenever I buy something it is shipped right away.

You are asking me to review a perforated tray. Well, it is a perforated tray. I wish I could say more but I can’t. I bought this three months ago with a Anova precision 2 but I’m still waiting to receive it despite being told that I should receive it a month ago. I emailed you multiple times asking for updates and was consistently met with a vague reply telling me that I should get an update within two days. It’s been a month now and you’ve stopped answering when I asked for a full refund. Does this have anything to do with the multiple complains about the fact that your ovens turn into a brick as soon as the first firmware’s update ? I am losing hope and faith in your business. I had the oven less than two weeks when Anova pushed out a firmware update that bricked the oven. That was twelve days ago, and there is no sign of a fix. The oven has no physical controls, not even a USB port, and so no way of resetting the device. It’s an expensive cupboard. How could Above push out an update with such poor quality assurance?
