THe mussels I ordered arrived frozen in a timely manner and I was able to pop them into the freezer right out of the box. They are delicious and cook up very nicely. I have tried them in a number of different dishes and they do not disappoint. Today I had Filipino Ginger Lime mussels. Delicious!

This is my third major cookout with Alaskan King Crab. All three orders arrived exactly on time, and were packaged great; well insulated, and I like the use of Dry Ice. . . it keeps them frozen rock-solid without any melt water from traditional ice.

Expensive but worth it

I've been ordering from Alaska Crab for about six years now and have placed four orders. Every order has been excellent, and I've always been impressed with the quality. One of my favorite options at checkout is adding the "broken legs" at a fraction of the regular price. It's usually an outstanding value if you're looking to add an extra pound or two (or three!). My only criticism came with my most recent order. I decided to order 10 pounds of broken legs because I'd had such great experiences in the past. While some of the bags were outstanding and full of large pieces, others contained much smaller pieces, so the consistency wasn't quite there. In previous orders, I'd only added 2–3 pounds of broken legs and was always impressed, which is why I felt comfortable ordering much more this time. That said, this has been my only complaint in six years of ordering. Shipping has always been reliable and on time, whether I've selected overnight delivery or a scheduled arrival. Overall, I'm still very happy with Alaska Crab and will absolutely continue ordering from them.
