We are like many who have a surf and turf tradition for Christmas Eve dinner with our family. We had 3 parts of our order, King Crab legs, Shrimp and the bonus item cracked claws and legs. Shrimp were enormous and wonderful! King Crab legs were huge as expected. Meaty throughout. The crab claws and parts were added to the order as a last minute item. They were offered with an existing order, Bonus!! I've got several that will eat a little crab and I was thinking that's a good way to give them a little, and save the big boys for those that WANT the legs. Legs and parts were all steamed to reheat along with salt water and lemon. The Kings were great. We had an issue with the "parts". The meat was tough and you couldn't even bite it or chew it. One of my kids said she split the meat down the middle and scraped what was left inside one her teeth. Not believing her, I tried a piece and darn she was right. How disappointing! Not knowing much about crab development I emailed customer support and explained the situation. They asked for photos so I provided some photos that were not much help in my opinion. The Company came through and provided a refund that was beyond my expectations. This this my third order with the Company and will continue to support them. Chalking this up to a fluke.
