A fantastic hat! Arrived in perfect condition!

I received my Akubra Traveler in size 59, Regency Fawn, and I am quite happy with it. It now sits proudly next to my earlier purchase, the Akubra Tablelands in size 59, Sorrel Tan. I absolutely love the Tablelands for its stiffened brim, which holds its shape beautifully. The Traveler feels quite different, with a more flexible brim that took a little getting used to. However, it is has a more luxous look and feel. More likely to wear when going into town. Another interesting detail is the inner strap. The Tablelands has leather, while the Traveler uses cotton, which feels softer and more casual on the head. Living here in the Netherlands, it is quite difficult and expensive to get Akubra hats shipped. That makes each one feel extra special. For me, they are statements of style and admiration rather than heavy duty working hats, and that is exactly what I love about them. On the photos: Left the Tablelands, right the Traveler

I had one bad experience where My First Rodeo hat arrived inside a wet box. I believe that was the carrier’s fault. I don’t think that the hat got wet or was damp but it was disappointing as the hats are fairly expensive. The hat itself I love. It is smaller than my Rough Riders and can be worn anywhere. A very nice and smart looking hat which i love and I highly recommend. Lorraine Ann Graham

My new and old Akubra is a wonderful product to enjoy the great outdoors with. 38 years between them is testament to the quality given I have taken due care with it over the years. I bought the simple hand stand for storing better in wardrobe which makes a difference to the brim.

I went online to replenish my hat supply but unfortunately the Snowy River was OOS in my size. (Yes, I have a boof head) A couple of weeks later I received notification that my size was back in stock and so. I ordered it and received it in very short order. Aussie made, Aussie service. Need I say more.

My son loves his Akubra! The perfect 25th b’day present. It looks great, the fit is perfect, it arrived quickly, packaged well. All the friends want one now 🤠
