At first I was unsure about this hat seeing it online. In person it is so much better. Nice firm brim. Felt feels great. Wear it to work everyday now.

It’s a beatiful hat, that is easy and comfortable to wear. A normal sized brim, and does the akubra job perfect.

The items I purchased ranged from excellent to good, all do the job. The hat stretcher and the inserts are excellent, the chin strap and hat box are very good and the hat clips is good. I have nine Akubras mostly Pastrolists the other two are the Squater and the Traveller, I love them all as they are beautifully made and last a lifetime, my first is 50 years old and I still wear it on the farm.

Staff at the South Kempsey factory were wonderful to deal with. Extremely helpful.

Great quality, stylish and good looking hat. Unfortunately the crown is very low so I had to modify it quite a lot to make room and it spoils the look quite a bit. If you have a tall head like I do then you're likely better off with a Tablelands or, even better, it would be great if Akubra would start making an open crown civilian version of the slouch hat again. The Campdraft is another tall open crown hat but the bluegrass green doesn't really grab me.

In store customers rawhide was great, bought the hat as a gift and it is truly loved and cherished

Such a beautiful, well-made hat. Excellent quality. I will have it forever. I always receive compliments whenever I wear it. “The Traveller” is versatile; I’m a city dweller and it doesn’t look out of place.

Poor service

Online service for exchange was terrible.

It’s a bit low when you spend nearly $400 on a hat and it’s not even boxed but just wrapped in paper and put in a bag. The hat itself is good.
