I live in Alaska USA and am used to unfathomable shipping charges, when compared to the rest of the US. I was pleasantly surprised that when I recently got a big order with "free" shipping, it was actually free. I didn't have to pay a huge surcharge like some companies charge to send to Alaska. USPS is plenty inexpensive; if only more companies would just use them. I try to place large orders to minimize the shipping cost. I do hope they keep that fair shipping going!
