Very soft horsehide, wonderful grain and great quality... It will be the classiest jacket at the watering hole. The liner will make it warm even in the winter. Hillside did a little customizing on it for free, a one of a kind.

I like wearing my vest when I�m riding and this vest is amazing! I originally bought a vest on amazon for a hundred bucks from some other brand and when it got here I was disgusted at how cheap it was made so I returned it right away and decided to look for a quality vendor. I�d never bought a vest from Hillside before but I read reviews and decided to take a gamble and boy was I happy. The vest is heavy which I really like and you can just tell this is top grade material they are using. It arrived promptly and when I tried it on it fit perfect. I do advise to make sure you get your measurements right and then order a size higher in case you want to wear a hoodie or jacket underneath. I am very pleased with this vest will be shopping here again for sure.

I would like to compliment your company on your jackets. I one I have, the horsehide cafe jacket, is extremely well made. I've owned it since August of 2010 and have exposed it to heavy rain as well as snow and it still holds up. Your horsehide leather is quite soft and not stiff such as the horsehide used by Schott Bros. and especially Lost Worlds who bragg about horsehide that's cardboard stiff.In comparison, I do own other jackets made by Schott Bros.(118), Cockpit, Lost Worlds, Legendary USA. Although the Schott and Cockpit leather material is good, I can't say too much about the stitching which has gave out at around where the sleeves are attached. And this is the second jacket from them that's like that. The same goes for my Cockpit A2. I'm quite impressed by the quality of your jackets. I will be ordering another horsehide jacket from you soon. I've bragged about your jackets to some of my riding friends and maybe some of them will be customers too. Keep up the good work!

I bought this vest at Bike Week in Florida in 2004. I have put on and replaced numerous patches and pins. I have rode through all kinds of weather conditions from 104 degree heat to full rain storms. This vest still looks as good as the day I bought it. No stitching has come loose or buttons failed. The vest still has the original leather lacing on the sides. The vest is a little heavier but that is American Quality. I have had this vest for 17 years now and it has lasted me through 3 bikes now and I wear it on every ride unless temps are to low. You can buy a cheaper sheep skin vest made in Pakistan or a quality vest made here in the USA. I'll stay with the USA built products.

Love my distressed Buffalo vest. It's warm beautiful, heavy duty and a quality only made in the good old USA. The leather pockets are absolutely amazing. I'm proud to sport this awesome vest and will be ordering a jacket soon. Thanks for a great job Hillside!

Hey Joseph, The jacket and chaps showed up yesterday and they are awesome! I was really nervous about getting them sized correctly, but they fit perfectly. The jacket length is correct, the sleeve cuffs are great and the chaps fit like a glove, both the legs and the waist. Thank you for your help in getting them sized. Just HAD to take a moment to tell you guys the vest I purchased from Hillside was AWESOME!!! The quality feel, soft supple but heavy duty brown leather is comfy right off the bat and I know will get better with every wearing. Your SERVICE was quick, friendly, efficient and best of all in American English! I asked for one style of vest , but with the leather from another & leather lined gun pockets and you made it custom by my request and as quickly as a stock vest. I'll be posting this on my FB page Oath Keepers MC. Expect more sales to me and I'm sure from others! Keep up the good work... I'd rather pay a little more for quality American Made Leather Vest any day!

I've had it about a year and it feels like an old friend. Heavy duty with all the features of a true motorcycle jacket. Can't believe all the compliments I get. Vents make it usable even in some pretty warm weather. Highly recommend.
