Late arriving after paying extra for a named delivery day was the only downside. Goods were lovely but I could have saved £6 by not having a delivery date

The service is usually excellent. However for this order it did not arrive on my chosen day and I had no communication advising me of why. I had to email to ask what had happened to my order when it still hadn’t arrived the following day. I was told that they were very busy (it was just before Christmas) and there had been delays in dispatch. I fully understand the challenges of managing the scale of orders at this time of year but feel I could have had an email or some communication advising me of the delay in delivery of my order. My order arrived within 24hours of my email enquiry. Thank you.
