I can't thank the gentleman who recently replaced my windscreen enough. He took the time to explain everything clearly, cleaned all my windows and dashboard, and even pointed out that my wipers needed replacing. It's rare to encounter such thoughtful service. Friendly staff who genuinely make you feel cared for turn a routine repair into a memorable experience.

I had the good fortune to deal with Ali over a few weeks. Not only did he do an excellent job with the repair, but he went out of his way to honour my Booking last Saturday morning, which someone had inexplicably cancelled!

I have never felt more let down and frustrated by a service than I have by AMI Insurance and Smith & Smith. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with any company — not just because of the delays, but because of the complete lack of care, accountability, and basic customer service. It’s been almost a month since I lodged a claim for my broken windscreen, and it’s still not fixed. I’ve now been told I have to wait another seven weeks because they don’t have the right windscreen. How is this even possible? What am I paying insurance for? In that time, I’ve had to reschedule my life around false promises. Smith & Smith cancelled three confirmed appointments, each time after I had already made arrangements, taken time off, relied on public transport, and asked family members to help drop my car off. And every time — another excuse, another delay, and no one taking real responsibility. And here’s the worst part: AMI has not offered me a single dollar of compensation. Nothing. Not for the time I’ve wasted, not for the transport I’ve had to arrange, and certainly not for the stress and inconvenience caused. I feel completely abandoned by both companies. You take my money every year without fail — but when I actually need help, suddenly I’m just another number on a waitlist. I honestly regret ever choosing AMI and I will never recommend Smith & Smith to anyone. This has gone beyond poor service — it’s negligent, disrespectful, and frankly, insulting. If this is how you treat your customers, I’d hate to see what you call “support. ” You’ve lost my trust completely.

My vehicle’s window needed to be replaced after an accident that occurred just before leaving on a road trip holiday, which resulted in the window being shattered. Antonia (Ants) was absolutely brilliant to deal with and I felt looked after right from the beginning, despite the stress of the situation. The best customer service I’ve received in a long while. Window replaced within 24 hours, which allowed us to get away for our hols. Thanks Ants - You’re a credit to Smith & Smith Glass.
