In a world of high stack road shoes, these were exactly what I was looking for. Bought a few pairs of them. Hoping the industry trends in this direction again.

While it is heartbreaking to see the company wind down, I have nothing but positive things to say. You folks have always been incredible at customer service. Between all the free gifts, friendly notes, and quick responses, I've always felt like I was actually a valued part of a community and not just a number on an invoice. I know that you all have so much talent and heart that you'll do something else great. Whatever it's worth, you've made my life immeasurably better. Thanks to you, for years, I've had shoes that fit my feet perfectly, which helped prevent injuries, and they are beautiful, which gives me a little extra pep in my step. And, although I don't wear them for the attention, I can't think of another piece of clothing in my life that has ever started so many conversations. I've met fellow runners at concerts, charity bike events, and hiking on the Appalachian trail. I've met people who've never run a mile; they just want to talk about the band or the character in The Neverending Story, but it is always interesting, and it always gave me a chance to talk about a local Austin brand and my love of running. So, thank you. Thank you for everything you accomplished, and thank you for everything you tried to do. You will probably never really know how much of a positive impact you've made on so many people.

Great neutral trainer for tempo and short recovery runs :) Drop and responsive cushion are bueno.

The carbon fiber is felt and good for a few runs. Did get heavy heal blisters after the first run and bloody back (see the picture). The top of the heal ripped. Have ran about 60 miles

Amazing combination of weight and stability- and the style is beyond Supreme!

I have probably put around 20-30 miles on this shoe. This is one of my go-to trainers for helping me focus on my form and cadence. They do a good job of keeping it like the Base model but making it good for a bigger bulk of training miles. The foam is very enjoyable, with a good balance of responsiveness and ground feel. At first, I was not excited about the tread on the bottom, but it has not caused me in problems while running and seems durable. This shoe may not be the best for somebody who does not want to worry about form, there is less cushion than something like New Balance Fuel Cell foam. If I don't pay attention, I can start to feel my shin, specifically with fast, hard efforts. For somebody looking to train form primarily and likes going on different surfaces with some tempo, these are great shoes.

Love the shoes, company, got the basic trail a year ago, absolutely flawless build and comfort. Only thing that wore out was the sole, would recommend a double thickness design, not a flaw otherwise. Ordered the new race 2. 0, can't wait to put them to work. We'll done Atreyu.
