Paul was amazing, he helped me in choosing a mattress and went through my list of questions answering them all. I am at a distance, so I am going based on reviews, podcasts and others recommendations for Essentia. It's ensuring that they have a trial period and was truly helpful to have someone who knows and believes in the product to talk over what the best choice for me would be. Since sleeping on my Essencia mattress for almost three months, I have had the best sleep ever. It all started with a super experience in the store in Kitsilano, Vancouver where I was given lots of information, time to try out different mattresses, and no sales pressure. I’m still amazed at how quickly I fall asleep, how deep my sleep is, and how rested I am when I wake up. I feel like a new woman every morning.

I purchased an Energie Opus mattress after doing my research on Essentia and visiting the Queen Street store in Toronto. I love the fact that the mattress is solid, there is minimal transfer of motion, and that there are no VOCs or off gases. However, my one complaint is that it did not feel as soft or as comfortable as the mattress did in the store. I was told to give it the full 30 days of "breaking in", but even then I was still waking up with considerable stiffness and a sore lower back. I have had the mattress for over 90 days now, and it is finally starting to feel more comfortable. But not the sleeping on a cloud experience that I was hoping for. Just a cautionary warning, please note that it won't feel as soft as the model you try in the store, so perhaps consider picking a softer model. I sure wish I had.
