I purchased my Saratogas in Brown Demi and just love them! They are well-crafted and feel wonderful! I purchased mine direct from AO and have had them adjusted at one of their authorized retailers. Even the retailer, Hertzog Optical, is outstanding! I’ll be purchasing another pair of AOs soon.

I started wearing the Aviator style sunglasses as an USAF Air Traffic Controller in 1969, and it has been the only style I have worn since. They are light weight and comfortable. They are easy on and easy off. They also don't create a problem with the back of the ear.

Love my true pilot sunglasses. I tried other brands on this particular style but nothing compares to American Opticals. AO are the originals.

I have owned my AO shades for a few years now and I can say they stand the test of time. These glasses have held up to normal use I like them they're comfortable and stylish after these few years I can say I would purchase again if your on the fence buy them they are quality.

I wanted a pair of glasses that resembled the ones LBJ wore. I ordered from American Optical and they are amazing.

Ever since I was a kid, I wanted the same pair of sunglasses worn by J.F.K. As soon as I learned about the brand, American Optical, and its model, Saratoga, I decided to purchase a pair. The shipping was easy and no fuss. When I received the shades, they fit my face perfectly and the quality of the shades is sublime. I enjoy that the hinges are not flimsy, but firm and tight.

This is my second pair of these as I like to keep a spare on hand. The sunglasses fit very well & are light weight. They are glare-free & I like the aviator/pilot style a lot.

I really appreciate it the fact that AO eyewear revived the Saratoga. I bought a pair in tortoise with calobar green polarized lenses they were nylon I wish they were glass. It just means I'll have to be more careful and clean them with a lighter hand. The good news is that as soon as I put them on in the 52 mm width I fell in love with them and just about immediately ordered another pair in Danny Brown with with true Ray lenses also polarized. I love the way I look in them. I think the best tribute to a company is return business, and that is what you have earned from me. I tried a couple of pair of the generals and they were just not for me they're smallest size was still too big and that's just the way the ball bounces. We can still be friends. Once you have my loyalty it's a done deal so please consider it as a two-way street and and you will be successful as a company. Now a word about your customer service in the moment I'm thinking it's second to none. I make a phone call and it's answered on the second or third ring what more can a man ask for. Everyone is pleasant professional and knowledgeable and happy to hear from me. You are not the only company I do business with as far as sunglasses but you are one of them and always will be.
