I made a ton of calls when I found out that I had a roof problem, and Justin with RC Energy Solutions, was the only one that took the time to hear me out and to explain what steps could be taken to fix the problems. Justin was prompt in returning calls/emails, and made sure that there was someone at my house to address all my issues in a timely manner (on two different occasions). The problems I was having, ended up being pretty simple fixes, but I do know that the life of my roof is dwindling, and I know exactly who I will be calling when it's time to get a new one.

RC Energy Solutions did a great job installing solar panels on our home. Justin and Dan were very amazing to work with and responded right away to any and all of our questions! They are very professional and totally support their work, even getting back to you after the job is completed. Best of all, our panels took care of all the electricity we used for 2016! Justin and his team did an awesome job. I got a number of bids and decided to go with Justin because his company provided the overall best solution for our needs at a very competitive price. Originally was just looking to get solar but knowing that my AC and furnace were old and inefficient discussed that concern with Justin. Our home also had very poor insulation so in the end we did our solar, new AC and furnace as well as additional insulation in our attic. The job could not have gone any smoother and I highly recommend this company.

RC Energy Solutions blew me away! Dan, the manager, and Shaun came out to check on my solar system because the inverters went down. A different solar company had come out a few days earlier and gave me a bid of over $6000 to repair the system. Dan said it may be a simple electrical fix, so he and Shaun spent the next 1.5 hours going through the system to find out what was going on. Also, the paperwork I had was a mess from almost 10 years ago when my parents got it installed - it looked like it had been installed in 2001. Dan looked through the paper work and helped me identify the company that installed the system and determine that it was still under warranty since it was actually installed in 2007. In the end they determined that the inverters were actually faulty and that I'd need to contact the company that installed the system. Because of the time Dan took with me, and the discovery that it's still under warranty, he saved me thousands of dollars. I asked him how much I owed him after all of that time he and Shuan spent, but he wouldn't accept any payment from me - I couldn't believe it! It's pretty rare to find someone nowadays who works with people like these guys do. Dan is a great guy and is extremely knowledgable and trustworthy. I give Dan, Shaun, and RC Energy Solutions my highest recommendation.

We finally got real tired of super high electric bills so we did our homework and spoke with several solar companies. Of all of them, RC Energy Solutions was the most informative and offered us a solution to our needs at the most competitive price. They finished the job ahead of schedule and under budget and all the while we're extremely courteous and efficient. We would highly recommend them. RC did an excellent job on my solar for pool and home.

We used RC Energy to install solar panels 3 months ago. Justin was very professional, and responsive to multiple emails and phone calls. We interviewed 4 companies, and chose RC Energy for the following reasons: 1) Best financing package (18 month 0 down, 0 interest loan, and a 12 year 2.9% loan with no origination fee or prepayment penalty; 2) Provided best system for our disjointed roof (microinverter) while other larger companies tried to push Sunpower panels and I believe they had incentives to push them; 3) Diversified company that should stay in business if the solar panel industry takes a downturn after federal rebates end in 2016, or net metering rates change later this year; and 4) Provided 20 year warranty on both parts and labor.

RC Energy did my new solar installation last year in the summer. They were an excellent team, and from the contracting process to scoping out the panels, to the actual installation and then post clean up, RC team did an excellent job. I have been very happy with my energy returns, and my neighbor just recently used RC also for their entire solar installation. Great company and team!

We really can't say enough great things about our experience with RC Energy. Their entire crew was always on time, professional and clean. We felt very well taken care of. They replaced our roofing, added insulation, attic fan, all new windows as well as adding solar. They walked us through using the Hero program and we're always available for our questions. We are so glad we chose them! Tell them we said hello! Update: I failed to mention how much we have enjoyed all of our upgrades! The difference if temperature in our house this summer was AMAZING to say the least and we do not have A/C. The windows are beautiful and worth every penny. So super quite now. Our built in dog door in the sliding glass door is priceless. Same goes for the much lower heat costs now. Good stuff!

We are very happy about our experience with RC Energy Solutions and we would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a solar system. We met with 5 or 6 other solar providers who came to our home, several overstayed their welcome and many of them, for some reason, were very intent on getting us to lease their solar systems. Justin came highly recommended, but we still wanted to evaluate as many other providers as possible. At the first meeting with Justin from RC, he respected our time and didn't pressure us to buy versus sell, instead, he objectively provided the facts, gave us the pros and cons and let us make our own decision. After thoroughly comparing all the costs and options, we decided that the smartest decision would be to proceed with RC and we're so glad we did! Throughout the installation, Justin and Dan were extremely easy to work with and really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and continue to be responsive regarding follow up and questions we've had after the install. The best part is that they accurately calculated our energy needs and the solar system is covering our costs!

RC Energy is near completion on my home. From the initial contact for estimates/consultation to nearing completion they have met my high standards for being on time, prepared, and doing what they say they are going to do. I had consulted with several other contractors and was left wondering why people think it is ok to abuse other peoples time by being extremely late or not showing up at all. RC Energy Solutions was the last contractor I met with because I was that impressed. Justin was prepared with my homes specs, SDG&E info and could show me in real numbers exactly how this solar was going to benefit my family. He also immediately scheduled the window crew to measure replacement windows/doors and the AC/Furnace rep to inspect. Now that all the details were complete they have nearly completed the install of everything in one week with a crew for every phase at my house daily. The Project Manager Dan has been amazing staying in touch with me daily on the progress, what to expect and what is planned for the upcoming days. I can honestly say they ran into a few snags that were unforeseeable because a licensed electrician I had previously hired took shortcuts making this teams job tougher. But instead of overlooking it they corrected the wrongs of another company and made my home safe and did it the right way. They not only did what they said but more and they never made me feel like they were bothered to have to do it, they were glad to help and I really appreciated that. In addition they are priced so competitively that I can't be more happy with this overall project and we aren't even completed yet. The windows are the last to take place tomorrow so I will post again once my solar is on the grid and I have used the ac/furnace and report back to how it all went. I am very excited about my home improvements and cannot wait to enjoy the benefits. RC Energy designed and installed our solar system and we could not be more happy, both with the process and the outcome. Prior to meeting with them, we had received multiple estimates from several larger companies for a leased system and also a owned system. We were feeling a bit overwhelmed before meeting with "one more company", which happened to be RC Energy. What a difference!! Justin and Kevin are extremely knowledgeable and are very nice/sincere people. They were able to design a rather innovative way for us to own a system and keep the cost down to a more manageable level. They broke down the pros and cons clearly and helped us figure out the best method to meet our needs. Absolutely no hard sales pitch, just calmly talking to us about the factors to consider and what they meant, long term. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a solar system.
