A truly fine/"Fein" instrument!
Having recently purchased the Fein Parma cello with Premier bow, I can readily bestow a well-earned five stars upon this instrument and the shop. Andy Fein and Diane Houser have been superb in communicating at every step of the ordering and shipment process. The instrument arrived in perfect condition and clearly had been carefully, even lovingly packed for shipment. The instrument is a.absolutely beautiful both in form and acoustically: I could not be more pleased; were I in Italy I believe I would say it was "indubbiamente davvero voluttuoso"! Andy was even astute enough to inquire about our local weather forecast so as to time the shipment to avoid exposing the instrument to extreme ambient heat, and kind enough to include several useful complimentary accessories in the shipment. Despite my distance from the shop, and that I am a first time customer, I feel as though I've been treated as a valued, long-term one. For a superb quality, beautiful instrument and excellent value, I highly recommend this cello.

1715 Golden Period Strad
This a Very nice violin. It's beautiful. The harp tailpiece and chinrest are the (brown wood). It is nice to hold. It sounds very nice. As I progress in my playing it will sound nicer. I have total confidence that any thing I play wrong is never the violins fault. It IS easier to play. The selection of the instrument was totally mine. The staff just accurately described the models I might be interested in. I had no risk in case I didn't like it, I could send it back. Nice. This is my fourth violin from this company. My "starter" violin was quite nice. I traded up every few years. I traded up as I progressed to reward myself at different levels. Feins trade up program makes the violins much more affordable. Fein Co. is nice to work with, that really makes the difference to me. I love the instrument.

Stands the test of time
I have been using one of your Allegro model violins for about 4 years and I am beyond amazed how much nicer this violin sounds compared to other violins priced similarly that sound like tin can garbage. Love your work!

Amazing violin, fantastic sound.
I got my grand violin with a bravo hybrid bow, maple shoulder rest, tetul chin rest and tailpiece, wittner pegs. It's an beautiful violin with an outstanding sound quality!! The combination responds so easily that one player can produce a great amount of sound!! Best violin I could ever have purchased!!

Great cello!!
We bought this wonderful Italian/French cello from Andy 13 years ago and are continually still amazed by quality of the build and tone of this wonderful instrument. When we want to diss discover anything about cellos Andy’s the first authority we contact.

A Viola Beyond Compare
Andy -Thought I'd share a quick holiday tale with you. Had occasion to be in Atlanta over the holiday break and found myself nearby a reputable string shop. On a lark, decided to go in and test a couple of nice-looking violas they had displayed. After playing about 20 minutes or so, I was convinced that these instruments, despite their heftier price tags, did not have the resonance or complexity of my Fein viola. My bride of 34 years, sans any prompting, observed that the instruments I played at the store sounded flat, more uni-dimensional than the viola I already own. An appropriate recognition as this is my one-year anniversary with the Fein viola. Best wishes!

Excellent Decision...and Instrument!
After learning that estimated repair costs for EACH one of my three wood violin/fiddles expected to be around $500 (long term storage/high desert and myriad adverse situations beyond my control for several years)...I went searching for alternative choices and found Glasser violins here at Fein's. While I was a bit dubious contemplating a "fake" fiddle...loved my wood instruments...I admit to being intrigued. Talked to both Diane and Andy--wonderful folks, thank you!!!--and decided on the Glasser with upgraded A. Fein composite/wood bow and a shoulder rest. While it took a little getting used to (added weight, using a shoulder rest for the first time in 40+ years of playing, different type of strings, etc.), after fairly intensive playing over the past several months and taking it a few times a week to various locations for jams and such, I am happy to report that this instrument DELIGHTS me! I am as careful with it as if it were wood, but love the peace of mind I get knowing it is so durable. It has a wonderful robust range while maintaining a sweet purity of tone whether I'm playing a soulful slow song or asking it to kick it up for a hard driving fast fiddle tune or project through the other (loud) instruments. Lovely responsive fingering. A little more challenging for (me, anyway) fast string changes and double stops given the shape/slope of bridge, but I don't actually have plans at this time to change it out for playing Bluegrass. I am pleased with it just the way it is (and content to improve my skill). If I were able to turn back time, I'd make the same decision, no question. Probably would have CONSIDERED a pickup more than the brief moment I gave it, but I'd never plugged in before, nor at the time foresaw a desire to do so. It's been mentioned several times recently, particularly when playing with a lot of electric instruments; something to think about for the future. (Still really not a big deal, as it does project well and I can always use a mic.) I also...

Warm, Resonant and Clear
The warm tones of the instrument are exactly what I wanted. This cello projects sound to the back of any space clearly, and the video doesn't do justice to how loud and clear this cello is while keeping its warmth. I absolutely recommend the Larsen strings and a higher quality bow than the hybrid. Just a beautiful instrument visually and tonally.

Wonderful cello
I recently purchased the Francois Costa BRANDENBURG Cello for my 13 year old daughter. It is a beautiful looking cello and sounds really nice. I had looked on Craigslist but couldn’t find anything as nice for the same price. There was great communication and they answered all my questions promptly. Costumer service was excellent!

LOVE THIS CELLO!!!!
OMG - it sounds soooo good and the vibes it passes on to the listener and the performer - just GREAT!! My experience with the retail aspect of Classical music has given me an advantage, as I know what things are supposed to sound like. My teacher definitely likes the instrument and the strings, and the cello really sounds great no matter how badly I might squawk from time to time. Thanks for a fabulous cello, and a new avenue of fun and life to explore!
