My Red Rip Current S that arrived in July 2018 now has over 20,000 miles, and is ready to ride. Today my Step Through received in mid 2022 has 8704 miles on the odometer. Clearly with normal maintenance these bikes will go the distance. Starting slow and after time and a more comfortable seat I try to ride 20-30 miles most days schedule and weather permitting. I can not say enough about how helpful these bikes have been to improve my health and state of mind. Yes these bikes need chain, tire, break pad and shifter cable replacement with lots of milage as well and chain cleaning and lubricating, But anything worth having is worth maintaining. These bikes have served me well.

Always the best service when ordering from this site. With the exception of juiced not letting customers know they are in the process of moving and orders would take a couple weeks to be sent out, everything was as expected and the products are always amazing.

I bought a bike and it was defective as the hub wire torn in half right away.juiced charged me 700.00 for a new hub. i sent back the old one for warranty with zero response. this bike has been a money pit, and i would NOT recommend this brand. buy from a well established company with good customer support. this brand will be out of business real soon.

Love my rip racer!!!! Got the two racks, the fenders, and the rear view mirror to enhanced my experience while riding to and from work, an 11 mile commute. I highly recommend Juicedbikes! I purchased the RipCurrent S in late June but held off on writing this review until I had the opportunity to get in rides of 25 miles or greater. I now have 320 miles on the bike and it has exceeded my expectations. The bike shipment, delivery, packaging, and assembly were spot on. The break in period of riding around the neighborhood, acclimation to the control and display, etc. went well except for the brake pads, which although seated properly were very loud. A call to the Juiced Support Team, quick shipment and 15 minute installation of new organic pads corrected the noise issue. I purchased and installed the performance upgrade kit but have since reinstalled the original controller. The upgraded controller zapped the battery life and there was a definite lag in the peddle assist if I wasn’t pushing fast enough. I’d rather ride further than a few miles faster. Too bad the brake light assembly does not come standard, it’s a nice feature. I have friends and family with other fat tire E-Bikes from different manufacturers and I have to say that the Juiced RipCurrent S is not only sleeker but outperforms the others in most categories, including price. Looking forward to many rides throughout all seasons.

Love my new e- bike. Arrived earlier than expected. Compact, easy to assemble. Recently added a cargo basket in the front and rear. Perfect for my commute to work- under 4 miles round trip, only have to charge the battery once per week. The Level 2 is perfect for me but the 3-5, 8th grade boys in the hood prefer the level 3! ( they got them around the same time I did!) Biggest bummer are the brakes… after just 5 days of riding they squeak, squeal when stopping. People could hear me coming! I have had to replace the brake pads both front and back ( actually haven’t done the back yet) . Replaced with Shimano- resin - fingers crossed it will work. Rip racer should either 1) change the brakes pads they currently use or 2) pay for replacements for their customers. We shouldn’t have to do it within a few weeks time of our purchase!

Great bike, great price. Shipped on time and got to ride it within an hour of setup. Only gripe is the availability of the accessories

This is my first E bike and I am loving it. I get up every morning and plan my ride. Can't wait to take it for a longer ride and enjoy nature. This bike has re energized me to go and be outside longer!

I purchased 2 RipCurrent S e-bikes a few years ago. The Step-Though models were not available then. My older model is pretty much the same as the current version. I recently purchased 2 more but I chose the Step-Throughs this time. The bell then was better, the newer bell is really not great, but the old one is fine. Both versions of the battery have the same ratings and are interchangeable with the new one. The older batter has the power button on top/end and is accessible when installed on the bikes. The newer battery has a handle and the power button IS NOT accessible when installed on the bike. I will assume they changed this for security reasons, so you do need the key to disconnect the battery and use the power switch. I don't really like the new one because plugging and unplugging a battery tends to wear out the connectors, which leads to bad connections and problems (i.e. fires). I have not had any problems yet, just saying . . . I made a slight modification so that I could slip a small diameter object (in my case a stiff wire, 1/16th") between the battery and the housing allowing me to turn the battery on and off without removing the battery. Works great. The new Step-Through is much easier to climb on (we old people don't like having to raise and kick our legs over the seat/bar to get on). So I love the new Step-Though for that. So does my wife. The Bafang rear hub motor is stronger on the new Step-Though. But that comes at a cost as it uses more power. That's understandable. The controls are the same so that is great for us (nothing new to learn). I love the cruise control on these bikes!!! We put 400 miles on the new Step-Thoughs last week and they operated flawlessly, just like my older models. I did order the wood rear rack crate for the new bikes and they work great. I can carry my other bike's batteries in them (for spares) as well as food, water, tools, etc. Note: at the time of order, the new Step-Throughs were on sale for $1899. Much less than the...

The bike came well packaged no damage. The bike and accessories all seem well made. So far so good.

I did a lot of research a few years ago before buying my first e-bike and decided on the Juiced Crosscurrent S2. I still have the S2 along with two Crosscurrent X’s now. I was the first in our community to have an e-bike and now there are 6 neighbors that have them and all are Juiced Crosscurrents. I have over 3K miles on my bike and my neighbor has over 5K on his and all with no issues. The local bike shops have nothing that compares to the performance and value of the Juiced bike . One of the neighbors purchased a high end model from a local bike shop (twice the cost of the Juiced bike) but ended up selling it and getting a Juiced bike because it simply didn’t perform nearly as well as our bikes. I have to compliment them on their packaging also. I can’t imagine the bikes getting damaged in transit as they are so well protected in packaging.

I have been very pleased with the bike so far but haven't ridden enough to feel like I can give it 5 stars. With pedalling hard on a downhill I have gotten it up to 37 mpg but most level pedalling can get 27-29 mph without a serious workout. Am guessing I am getting 30 miles on a charge while running various trails, roads and surfaces. Would say, by and large, that I like it more than I expected to. Wasn't expecting to enjoy a fat tire bike so much. Requires more juice but sure gives more options for riding surfaces. Because the bike is an extra large, it's hard to find others that can confirm my sense.

I am very satisfied with my purchase so far. My bike arrived in good shape and setting it up was pretty easy. I am very impressed with it’s performance and handling characteristics. I am very impressed with the power it has. I’m using it as an in town commuter vehicle so it gets me where I need to go in a very reasonable amount of time with little effort on my part. I would definitely not recommend this bike if you’re trying to get exercise as it is very heavy and since the seat is not adjustable you cannot get good leg extension when your peddling even with the seat extension. But I have another bike for exercise purposes so this bike serves the purpose for which I intended. I like all of the safety features like headlights tail lights and turn signal indicator. The mirrors are very helpful and the horn is very loud. It will do every bit of30 mph in race mode but understandably it sucks the battery charge down quickly so use that feature sparingly. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase

I am so thrilled with my new Juiced bikes. They are extremely well made. The accessories are great and the price was fantastic. Thank you so much for a great product. I am getting on in years so the e-bikes have allowed me to continue to do what I have loved to do all my life- getting out into the countryside with friends.
