Best vacation EVER!
Let me begin by saying that this review likely won't do justice to our experience at Villa Estrella. You have to experience it to fully appreciate it! We were a group of 11 adults celebrating my 40th birthday for 4 days/4 nights. From the moment we arrived at this gorgeous house and were greeted by the amazing staff, we were blown away. And it only got better throughout our stay... The house is wonderful. Photos simply cannot capture the view or the breezy comfort of the accommodations. It was positively glorious to just sit and enjoy coffee in the mornings and lounge around in the pool with pre-dinner cocktails in the afternoons. The bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, pool, and outside dining areas are welcoming, clean, and well provisioned. We did make use of the yoga studio to exercise, which was an added bonus. It felt like a true luxury stay and had we never left the house during our trip, we would have had a wonderful vacation! But by far the best part of our stay was the staff. I cannot say enough good things. The service was impeccable and it was a real joy having their smiling faces and friendly personalities around the house with us. They anticipated our every need. ALL of our meals and snacks were very impressive -- healthy, fresh, beautifully presented, locally-inspired, carefully tailored for dietary restrictions in our group, and delicious -- and the never-ending creative, tasty cocktails were a giant hit! Our driver was fantastic as well, getting us safely around and serving as a volunteer tour guide and taking us to some fantastic local spots we would not have discovered on our own. The staff kept the house clean and well-stocked throughout our stay, so we were never wanting for anything. Last but not least, Diego, the house manager, is a saint. He recommended perfect excursions for our group (and then coordinated seamless experiences for us), was available literally 24-7 to answer questions and make suggestions, and was truly invested in us having...
