Even I couldn't mess this up. Put down the Growtrax, followed watering instructions and voila! I had healthy, new grass that is thriving. Great, idiot-proof product. This stuff worked good

Loved it. We had a lot of rainy weather here in Boston area so I didn't have to water it a lot. But it's been 2.5 weeks or so and we DEFINITELY have the patch of dirt with grass.

I purchased this from an instagram ad to try with dog spots and edging that seams to take a while on the north side of the house. The winters here in MN can delay things and with not that much sun. It took about 2-3 weeks of watering 2-3 times a day for it to sprout. It’s the real deal. I have tried a lot of seeding options but the mulch sheet with seed holds everything in place. I raked up any dead grass and turned up the soil then put about 1-2 inches of lawn soil underneath and water it whenever it looked dry. Will buy again.

Great product

Saw the ad on TV and was skeptical, but ordered anyway because I was having trouble with grass seed washing away. This stuff really works. I saw some little blades coming up in less than seven days. In 2-3 weeks I had a solid patch of new grass. A year later this patch of grass is doing great. This year I had workmen destroy a section of lawn while working on my patio. I used the remainder of the product, with the same great results.. Make sure area is prepared (I add a little top soil and smooth prior to planting), and the area is clear of old grass. I use a little bit of dirt on top in places to help keep the pad in place for the first few days. Water the area in a soft shower, (once water hits the pad you won't be able to move it), and be sure to faithfully water 2-3 times a day until the grass is established. Be careful to follow the instructions and it WILL WORK.. I'm ordering more today. The biggest "problem" I have is that I now have this patch of beautiful grass and the rest of the lawn isn't as nice.

We had trouble because after it was perfectly laid and watered, the wind came and it folded back and was impossible to recover without out huge gaps. Had to put plastic on and off. Grass is finally up after 6 wks, but sadly not even. Hoping to patch later. Frustrating!!

What a huge transformation! We did 1,000 sq. ft. of the front lawn just to try it out. We will be doing the rest once the hottest weather of this summer is over! We love it!!

Works great, my husband and I are in our late sixties and this was good for us because of cost. Sod was going to be close to $500 plus labor. We did this our selves and it was very easy. My last picture there was a couple bare spots, but that was due to us being away a few days.

Best product I have seen yet. I install it in 1/2 of my back yard and other half with regular Bermuda seed. I install the Grotrax on Thursday and Monday morning it already started and in 2 1/2 weeks it was 3" tall. Regular Bermuda just has started after 3 weeks. I am tilling up the rest of yard and install Grotrax. This is a great product and recommend it !!

We had tiling done and the saw was put on a patch of “grass” that was barely there and killed the rest. We decided to give it a try. My husband prepped the ground and we laid it out together. Then, I did the easy part- watering. It’s pretty warm in NC at the end of May and beginning of June so I watered 3 times a day as much as I could. I was a little skeptical of this product more because we’ve had problems growing grass in that area for years. There is one small spot that is just now starting to sprout or I would have given it 5 stars. This is at 3 1/2 weeks and it’s ready for its first mowing this weekend. I wish I had taken a before picture.

It work just as advertised. I had certain areas of my lawn that I could not grow grass no matter what I did. I laid the Grotrax down and with a good rainy spring season I had grass growing within 2 weeks. I would most certainly buy again.

Followed directions and had some nice grass growing in three weeks

Purchased Grotrax for the first time. Had about 1000 sq feet to cover. Have spread Grotrax over areas over the past 4 weeks. All areas have growth. Actual grass sprouted after about 2 weeks of watering and sunlight in my location in Ohio. I am curious to know how full this growth coverage will be by fall. I also hope this new growth survives the June July and August sun and heat. Overall I would recommend this product for growing new grass in affected areas needing grass.
