I’ve been ordering my meat from Grass Roots now for over a year and I couldn’t be happier. Great variety, real meat raised and handled as it was intended to be. Excellent quality!

The title pretty much describes what I think about Grass Roots! You all are wonderful to deal with and supply delicious meats that are healthy to consume.

I’ve been a loyal Customer for a few years now. Grass Roots still can’t get the delivery at my mom’s condo right. It’s unfortunate that I will have to stop ordering from Grass Roots until they get their act together.

Just discovered a whole chicken in the freezer, and roasted it today. The 4.1# bird roasted for about an hour, rested, and went down oh so nice and juicy!! Best roasted chicken I’ve ever had, and I kick myself for letting it find the middle of the freezer before it was eaten. That will never happen again. While it’s easy to balk a little at the cost I cannot remember having such an exquisite meal…twice for this price. It will be on my next order!

We try to buy all our meat from Grass Roots, and our most recent order went as smoothly as usual. The website is clear and easy to navigate. The delivery arrived quickly and was well-packaged. And of course the meat is as delicious as ever. (My only complaint is that a few cuts we wanted were out of stock.)

I ordered from Grass Roots maybe a half dozen times within last couple years. I usually order beef, but occasional sausages and chicken were also good. Beef is great. Grass fed beef is a little different than grain fed, I say they taste "lighter," in a good way. My wife grew up in Europe where the cattle is fed grass- she would get upset stomach when she ate regular grain fed beef. Then we realized that she's fine with grass fed beef. So that's a plus. Cows eat grass- there's nothing natural about fattening cows with corn. Taste-wise... you have to try them. They're good. They're not the cheapest, but we don't eat meat everyday, so when we do, we want to eat tasty meat from well-treated animals. So enough about the taste- they're good. Good. Good. Good. Service is top-notch and friendly. I've had a couple issues- a couple of delayed orders... They make it right without a hassle. I don't have to feel petty to suggest a solution- they give you a fair fix from the get-go. So, great tasting meat, great service. I wish they had items I wanted all the time... but I suppose it speaks for their popularity! :)

The pork shoulder roast was so delicious it was gone in minutes after I cooked it. The ham, and bacon were not salty at all, so tasty I kept eating it all morning, and no after taste of greasiness. The chicken was so tender and tasty. I am so happy to place my second order can’t wait!!! I hope they have Turkeys soon.

A general comment: the meat tastes better than any other I have had. All of it is delicious. And it is (almost) guilt free. I like knowing that I am supporting regenerative farming/ranching, helping the environment, and that the animals are treated with respect and care. If we are going to eat meat (and we humans are), this is the right way to do it. I strongly recommend Grassroots Coop.
