This is a strong program, well thought-out and so far I am loving the lessons. I'm a very critical person and an educator; so, I'm not easily impressed--Tony's put together an excellent program for learning guitar and offers a holistic approach so the learner learns more than just chords and strumming patterns. I'm incredibly impressed.

Before joining TAC I was beginning to think I could not learn the guitar, and now I believe that I can. Which I find exciting. I like the fact that you can learn at your own pace. I would absolutely recommend TAC to a friend or anyone that wants to learn to play guitar and willing to invest the time.

I was already taking online lessons from Guitar Tricks, but I was learning songs I wasn’t excited about, and I wasn’t enthused AT ALL about sitting down to practice every day. When I saw your ad on YouTube, I just kept thinking, “Go on…” (and also “wow, this is targeted advertising is really something.”). Your enthusiasm for the art of guitar—specifically the bluegrass style I’ve been after—really drew me in. Also, your pop culture references, sense of humor, and sarcasm make me feel like I’m actually sitting here learning from a real person! And of course I am — the live hangout really brought that together. I can’t think of another online guitar course that does that. I’m already excited for the next one. I would 1,000% recommend TAC to a friend, and I’m not a recommendy type. I don’t feel like I’m even "taking lessons." I feel like I’m part of a supportive community and we’re all learning together. My mom used to pay $60 per lesson back in LA, and her progress was so slow. I showed her my TAC progress in one week, and she couldn’t believe it! You’ve got something really special here, Tony. Glad I found TAC (or well, rather, TAC found me). Big props to Levi and Noah, too. I hadn’t made the time to login after purchasing, and then Noah made me that sweet video. I hope as you grow that you are able to keep those personal touches.

I was skeptical of myself and the potential that I was impulse buying something I wouldn't actually follow thru with. While it seemed legit, I had some concern that a full refund may not be as easy as described. So far I have been very pleased with the content, community and my progress. I really like the idea of consistent regular practice at my own pace. I am having fun so far!

so far, and this is less than a week, the material, explanations and demonstrations are really great. No problem following lessons. Still figuring out how to get around the site, but for issues so far the support is excellent. My main negative is that I am having issues with response and streaming. Teh site seems to frequently just hang, and I have to close and reload, sometimes multiple times. Very frustrating. One other small thing — a bit too much extraneous chatter, not that it’s not entertaining. But I’d like to get into the meat of the lessons and other videos, and get done so I can dedicate more of my limited time to the actual practice. But, assuming I can solve the technical issues, very worthwhile & I would recommend to a friend.

Very well thought out program. Like they say, you eat an elephant the same way you eat a hamburger. ONE bite at a time!

As soon as i signed up I had to take almost a month off to help my mother recover from hip surgery. She's doing amazingly well for 86 yrs young but I'm wondering if I can get caught up. There was no internet available there, but I'm back and ready to hit it.
