Hi Tony, Sorry about my
Hi Tony, Sorry about my late response, but I wanted to spend some time in TAC before submitting a review, but now I have been a member of TAC for 5 weeks, and I am very satisfied. I have played guitar on and off for 50+ years and rate myself as an intermediate player, so I was bit worried, that TAC was mostly for guitar newbies. On the other hand, I am mostly self-taught, so I was pretty sure to learn a lot of new technique, especially pertaining to flat-picking. This has definitely been the case, and I have found lots of bad habits that I can correct. The other reason for joining was the framework - the 10 minutes practice every day. This has worked very well for me after the first two weeks - it took some getting used to. The idea is brilliant, as I get to play every day, and mostly I spend more time with the guitar than the 10 minutes, and I have now embraced the idea that I do not have perform everything flawlessly, and this has helped me tremendously. The community seems were nice and open - my only problem is the apparent lack of other TAC members in my neighbourhood :( Yours, Niels F

At first I wasn't sure
At first I wasn't sure it would help me learn what I wanted to know. I knew some basics about moving up and down the neck but couldn't jump to a particular chord up the neck without stopping and scratching my head. I also wanted to get better at making a B or B flat. I joined and in the few months with TAC Tony has tackled each of these areas and also taught me the value of the pinky finger. I didn't know I had a pinky on my chording hand till now. I don't always post a lot but please know I love this program and all of you should be proud of the impact this is having on guitar players around the world. You are raising the bar and history will note your impact by the quality of musicians TAC produces! Respectfully submitted, Jim McCall

Hey Guys, Pretty new to
Hey Guys, Pretty new to TAC. Been practicing Tony lesson on a daily basis. I love he fact that Tony has this program strictly for the acoustic guitar which is awesome. What I would like to see is more how to link the lesson through the week to do some improv with them. I have only been playing for 2 years so maybe it will all come with time. Thank You.

This is great course. I'm
This is great course. I'm a little overwhelmed with all the emails. I don't have time to do all the weekly and monthly programs. I've been practicing every day even though I haven't logged in every day. I know it's all good stuff but what is more beneficial, the monthly or weekly program?

I wasn't sure what to
I wasn't sure what to expect at first. I've been stuck in a guitar rut for 1-2 years and playing guitar means so much to me. I was looking for anything to help me out. Since the very first day of practice at TAC I feel inspired and actually moving, developing. Can't wait for the next day to practice. I love how thoroughly Tony goes over every exercise. Love the courses and everything that TAC has to offer. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Tony's challenge exactly what I
Tony's challenge exactly what I was looking for as far as exercises and information is concerned. My finding the time with juggling fatherhood and a 12 hr shift is MY challenge is that I hope to be abLe to give it 100 % as I believe it will boost me to the next level.

Tony, "Hi dakromas?" Not quite
Tony, "Hi dakromas?" Not quite the "personal" touch I was expecting from you after watching a weeks worth of your videos! I typically spend all my playing time on two Fender electrics. My Taylor acoustic just sits around because I find the acoustic is a bit more difficult to play than the electrics. So I joined TAC to force myself to play the Taylor daily. So far I've enjoyed the format (although I have begun to skip past the personal intros for the lessons just to get to the meat quicker). Definitely like the FP work as I have not FPed in the past. I am already familiar with scales (major, minor, and pentatonic) and their chord structure, chord progressions, and moving around the fret board. Need to keep up with the lessons and check out the various components of the TAC website to determine if this program will satisfy my needs. Since I know enough about theory to be dangerous, I am taking the time to analyze the lessons I've taken so far and see how everything fits together from a scale/key perspective. The variety of things you do in the lessons could provide plenty of opportunity to continue this analysis to see what can be done on a guitar and how it is done. For now I like the program. If it continues in a similar manner, I'm sure I could support a 5 Star rating in the future. Doug (a.k.a. "dakromas")

I was actually very optimistic
I was actually very optimistic when I first joined TAC because I had seen the original ad as I stumbled through a few websites looking for some chord positions on the internet. I have been at it for a week and must say that I am very pleased with his method of teaching. I would recommend TAC to anyone, anywhere, any time!

Needed a course that concentrated
Needed a course that concentrated on acoustic guitar, which TAC does. TAC gives the student direction and motivation. Excellent lessons and archive material. Favourite aspects are easy to follow videos and clear instruction. I would and have already recommended TAC to a friend.

Strong start program and keeping
Strong start program and keeping people going and motivated. The only issue I've had is I got confused with all the e-mails coming at the beginning.

TAC is great. In person
TAC is great. In person lessons have a certain pressure to absorb as much as you can during each lesson, and then you must rely on notes and memory between each lesson. I can conduct each TAC lesson by rewinding and making Tony ('s recording) tell me again and again and again. The format is well designed and simple to navigate, and on day 9, I can say that the minimum lesson input tends to turn into hours for me, and I'm certain I'm already enjoying my Guitar a huge portion more than I would have if I had only one or two in person lessons in this amount of time. Thank you Tony!

I think the program and
I think the program and lessons are good enough but for me I'd rather purchase the course all at once. Look at Truefires business model. The sell the entire courses or monthly subscription. With monthly subscription I end up buying the course more than once.

I love the step-by-step process
I love the step-by-step process of the TAC lessons...it's very nearly a no-brainer. The video and sound quality is excellent and the ease of use and design of the site is top notch. It's very intuitive and everything you need for each lesson is readily available. It really makes the best use of the short time I have to play and have progressed, by leaps and bounds, well beyond all other programs I have tried combined. I am beyond thrilled.

Well yes actually it was
Well yes actually it was kind of confusing when I first signed up. It looked as though there was a one time fee of $69 and or a monthly fee of twenty something dollars, I forget. So I signed up for the monthly 20-something dollars sounded more economical to me. But after I put in all my credit card information I found out that I had signed up for a year and not just a few months. I was a little frustrated and confused at that point but went ahead and signed up for the whole year. Extremely glad that I did, I've not regretted it one minute. The way it's laid out for a less than beginner like myself. Is great I'm still on acoustic 101 although I keep getting daily plans that I'm just not ready for. But I love the acoustic 101 and I'm doing some of the warm-ups and trying to get through acoustic 101. I really love it and I am greatly appreciative of your little wins as you call it. I need those desperately everyday, and I am improving slowly I love the little wins.

Neutral to start with. Solid
Neutral to start with. Solid program but... too much material too soon. I need to practice to keep up ????? for remote folks like myself in the panhandle of Idaho my internet is intermittent so a CD would be very usefull just to get thru the material. If you got one please send it to me asap! Thanks. Oh one more thing....Tony, quit selling. Once you got us it's cool. Stop selling. That's coming from a person who believes in " always be selling"

I like it so far.
I like it so far. A bit confusing where to start at times - I think it is me as I get used to it. Even though I have played guitar for a couple years, I am starting at the beginning. I have picked up some good things so far. I look forward to getting into the weekly plan, as I move forward. The site is well done and your teaching style is good!

Short of taking private lessons
Short of taking private lessons from Mr Polecastro ( who took the time to contact me personally), this is the most comprehensive set of curriculum obtainable anywhere. Information is clear, concise, straightforward conveyed with humor and forthought. I did not attend my high school prom and understand his feelings completely about his. If I understood computers better you would here more words of praise however I would rather devote more time to finally grasping the concepts of the instrument. Thank you for the offer of giving you my opinion. Rest assured that if I feel ,at any time, these lessons stray from the concepts embodied here I will offer the best advice I can think of to help return them to the original concepts I am experiencing here.Although I doubt I will ever need to.
