The most unique card at the best price
I took what I felt was a bit of a risk with these, seeing as I wasn't able to receive a sample ahead of time being such a new product PrintShaq offers, but I went ahead with it anyways and don't regret it at all! Wow! The effect is everything I could hope for! If you would like to see an example yourself, I have taken an HD video of my new cards: http://www.flickr.com/photos/caninehybrid/7641146104 The cards are not as thick as I feared; it's not like a heavy, plastic credit card at all and much much suitable as a business card feel. It's also slightly see-through which was interesting but unexpected. The card looks nice as a holographic-esque effect for attracting the unsuspecting person who doesn't realize their full potential of the card... until I ask them to tilt it for the animation. There is some ghosting of course, but my design benefits rather well from this because I had anticipated the problem. For the best effect for non-morphing designs I highly recommend only doing the basic "2 flip" to ensure maximum clarity (and it is very good clarity for the 1st and 3rd images), the middle (2nd) image gets a lot of ghosting overlap from the other two images because of the nature of how the lens works. Also in my experience, my animated design being a morphing soild white logo on a black background, I noted the ghosting appears in a shade of pink, so be prepared for that. Also just a rule I kept in mind: make sure your design is large and legible, no small/skinny text or thin lines in the horizontal direction. Printing on the backside is beautiful and crisp as well. It's fun to look at, it's a blast to show off and see people's reactions, and it's an entertaining noise maker *scratch scratch* (which of course only draws more attention by doing so) I spent weeks researching and comparing competitors for lenticular cards, this was my ultimate choice based on: 1. lowest price available for low quantity and 2. a beautiful sample pack of other print work that Pr...
