I found out that Palouse had durum wheat berries and I just had to try to make my own pasta. I ground them up and made the best tasting pasta noodles I’ve ever had. So yummy, and I was happy because I knew the noodles were healthier than anything I can buy at the store. Thank you, Palouse for starting to carry durum wheat berries!

I ordered wheat berries, soft white. I received them faster than the order for soft read I placed with a farm that is local. Stored most of them, I grind my own flour as needed. We made biscuits and they were delicious.
