The Colston Bassett Stilton is simply the best and arrived in perfect condition. For many decades I have been a big cheese fan. I have sought out cheese specialty shops, befriended cheese mongers, and broadened my taste. When I retired we moved to an area where great cheeses were in short or non-existent supply and with little variety. I switched to buying my cheese online. I have tried and been disappointed by a number of online gourmet suppliers with varied results. Finally, Murray’s put and end to my relentless search for a completely reliable and knowledgeable purveyor of a wide and thoughtful variety of great cheeses. Murray’s website has been customer friendly and informative. Murray’s shipping has been flawless. Each and every cheese I have ordered from Murray’s has been professionally stored, carefully cut, properly wrapped (not vacuum sealed) and, thus, arrived in peak condition and flavor. Murray’s prices are fair (good value) for great product and superior service.

Murray’s Sharp NY Cheddar and Delice cheeses travelled to Boston where they received rave reviews at the John’s Hopkins reunion of medical illustrators which took place at the Newbury Street Guest House, room 302.

This is the second time I’ve ordered the Grand Charcuterie and it is a practical extravagance. Does anyone need this? No. Could you do this yourself? Yes. Would it be as easy and varied as Murray’s? An emphatic no. I send this to my parents, who are far away from me, and they LOVE it. They make an evening out of it and invite a few friends and everyone happily tastes and tries and enjoys everything. I have tried other, popular vendors with pears and Murray’s is far superior in variety, freshness, and price. I’m happy to support the company and the people who work there.
