Lex went through the trouble of reaching out to me after I had called about some monitor arms that were on back order to let me know that there were other colours in stock for the same product. I still ended up going with my original choice (which arrived a week before he said they would for a good 50% less than I could find them elsewhere!) but it was still nice of him to give me those options!

How to explain? I paid for my order. I've waited... 9 days. I received this review email. I haven't yet received my purchase. I haven't gotten a shipping notification for my purchase. I don't even expect my purchase to ship for another 4-5 days at the soonest. In the meantime, my current monitor is jury-rigged together and has flickered on/off three times while writing this review. So while I am happy to have found ANYONE who carries the part I wanted... I am not super enthused about this shopping experience. I recognize this is not something Lucinda's employees can control. The customer service I have gotten from your people is excellent. The price was competitive. But this entire experience is a massive disappointment. I bought from your company under the expectation that the item was in stock because three other online stores showed it back-ordered but Lucinda's did NOT. So that's poor design/ergonomics from your customer's point of view. A simple notification that stock is available or not would be a good addition to consider the next time you are revising your website. And sending me a review request before my purchase is actually in my hands? That's just tacky. The online equivalent of asking me to post a yelp review while I'm still in the store. So I am sorry that I have not enjoyed this consumer experience. It has been stressful, caused anxiety, left me with disappointment and a sense of helpless, futile annoyance at things I know will not change. It has been unpleasant. I do not think we are going to be friends. I do not think I will recommend Lucinda to my friends and acquaintances. I will not be looking forward to patronizing your store again. This will not be a fond memory, in spite of the best efforts of your employees. They could not salvage your reputation in my eyes. If this is a disappointment for you as it is for me, perhaps make it a little more clear when a product is not in stock? Modify this customer response email to not send until AFTE...

I previously left a review as a verified buyer under the name Jesse C. I received an email yesterday at 11pm from Les Miklos saying the item I ordered was back ordered at their east coast warehouse. This email went to my junk mail, so when I received a request to leave a review this morning I acted impulsively and for that I apologize. Im changing my review to more accurately reflect my purchasing experience. I was led to this store through Ergotron's list of distributors and the price of this item is considerably lower when purchased through Lucinda. Again, I apologize for my impulsive reaction. Please delete my previous review if possible. Look forward to doing business with you again in the future.
