As I also drive for Uber I am registered for GST and like family does not seem to accommodate that or has no one ever mentioned it. I therefore lose an extra 10% of the payment My other carer company pay GST on top if you are registered for GST Other than that I am enjoying the experience although there are not a lot of activities in my area yet. It’s also a bit hard when a member cancels within the week of the booking and you have given up other work already

I find the idea of like family and the confidence it gives me very comforting. However, you need to lift your game with the technology I find it very frustrating to navagate apointing a like family member and the whole process is less than satisfactory.

My experience with Like Family has been fine so far :) Easy website to operate and straight forward instructions in relation to applying for services as a worker, pay etc.

My support worker Hayley assists me in choosing healthy meals to cook. We sing and dance while cooking and cleaning up the mess we make. I love working and learning with Hayley, she is the best.
