user friendly mesh
Have recently bought this product to use as a rodent and chew proof base for by deer fence. It is easy to handle and use. Strong but at same time very easy to bend and install. Black color just blends in the landscape. Thank you!

Bought on sale
Bought on sale and was much better than expected. Extending an existing fence, this feels stronger in comparison but is actually more see through.

Better than expected
Had some other plastic fencing, this is much better than expected. Other material looks cheap and not as strong in comparison

stopping Bambi and Peter
So Bambi likes to eat ends of branches on small firs and, when they are taller, knock 'em over rubbing the fuzz off his antlers. Tried spray repellant and it works but reapply every month is painful. Tried fishing line leader and it works but moving it outward as the tree grows is painful. And does let Peter Rabbit in to nibble on the low bark. Could try standard chicken hex wire but is so ugly. So trying this PVC coated hex wire. Nice to handle. 5' diameter cylinder stands up well with two ⅜" rebar supports. Takes a week to get here from the East Coast. Is kinda pricey. Will it stand and work until the tree diameter is large enough that Bambi is no longer interested? Well, now that is the question. But the experiment is underway. Should follow up in say in 3 4 5 years.

Happy so far
My order was received surprisingly quickly. I am very happy with the critterfence so far. It is attractive, as transparent as such a fence can be, went up smoothly, and seems secure

Great Product! -Working fine as a cat fence for 13 Athletic Cats!
This fence - critter fence 700 cat fence is working great for my 13 cats so far. I got the 7 ft by 165 ft roll which covered the perimeter of my yard. I installed it myself and I am a 60 year old woman, and not exactly Hercules. The fence is very light weight and easy to handle. I recommend going with at least the 700 weight for a cat fence - great that this company offered it! (For dogs, I guess you might need a heavier weight.) The cats can't seem to climb it or chew through it. The fence wobbles which makes it very hard for them to climb it - even though I attached it tightly to the posts. Of course I put PVC pipes (not expensive - go to your local plumbng or hardware store - just be sure they are the right size to fit over your t-posts.) on top of the t-posts, and curved the fence over them, so even when the cats climb along the t-posts, they are detoured by the overhang. I curved the fence inward at the bottom about 6 inches, and used a LOT of ground staples. (Also not expensive.) I also covered the the entire length of the bottom of the fence perimeter with 4 by 4's long pieces of wood that I found just lying around on an abandoned lot. I put some metal mesh over the gate to the front yard and curved that at the top also. And attached a piece of wood at the bottom of the gate so the smaller kittens couldn't crawl under. Also had to block off a few other areas like the rose trellises and walkways along the outside of the porch, etc., (Just think like a cat! And check your whole perimeter.) ) If I had had extra polypropylene I could have just used the cat fencing to do those jobs, but I had run out so had to buy small rolls of metal mesh from the hardware store. (I wish they sold smaller polypropylene rolls as well, in case one needs extra fencing. If you can afford it just get more than you need for the perimeter.) Anyway - used zip ties on the gate and all the extra areas - they work really great, are easy to use, and very strong! (More expensive th...

Cat fence for Humane Society
We installed the fencing today and everyone is very pleased with all you sent and the way it went together. As a matter of fact, one party will probably contact you as she is thinking about installing a smaller version of the same in her backyard.
