It's only been a couple days but my pup is eating well

We received a free sample of the Home-Cooked Beef recipe from PinchMe. Our dog ate it without any issue, though it wasn’t quite enticing enough to replace his regular food. That said, we really appreciate the convenience—having a fresh, ready-to-serve meal on hand that doesn’t require the same level of refrigeration or prep as many other fresh dog foods is a real plus. It’s a great backup option or something easy to bring along when traveling.

I love the ease of it and the fact it's good for my dog

My dog Tator (corgi) is a new customer he has just been on JFFD since Nov 1st. So far so good. Tator has IBD he just got diagnosed last week with it after bloodwork that was sent off to Texas A&M. His diet has totally changed I have him off kibble 100% only thing he gets is the venison squash diet his probiotic and some slippery elm and no flare up. I'm crossing my paws that it continues on the right path.

My dog was crazy over this food. He gobbled it down like he was starving. I was surprised it had a pleasant smell. It wasn't messy to serve.

My dogs love their Just for Dogs food! They help me make it every weekend, they might even get to lick the bowl. Cash, my 9 year old lab mix, was extremely obese and just laying around no energy to do anything. I made the decision in April of 2025 to start making their dog food. I found out about Just for Dogs through an online dog group that I belong too. Since starting Cash has lost 20+ pounds and has enough energy to keep up for awhile with my Border Collie, Jack. before switching Jack was taking forever to eat his food. Now he can't wait.

Riley loves Just Food for Dogs! He is not a picky eater, so it was a surprise when he turned up his nose to the Turkey meals on another plan. We don't give him chicken since he get itchy when he eats it, so I was feeling like there was not much to give him except Beef when I found Just Food for Dogs. He loves the Turkey and Whole Wheat Macaroni!

I appreciate that my dog which like most dogs has Chicken and Beef allergies that we can get prescription food. My Dog loves the lamb renal support food that she needs to keep her healthy.

Wonderful company

I used to think that feeding my dog fresh, human-grade food meant hours of cooking and meal prep, which my incredibly busy schedule made impossible. Then I got a sample of JustFoodForDogs. My Standard Poodle is a very picky eater. Sometimes she eats this and other times she does not. Food is very good I'm sure, but Millie remains picky.

My extremely picky Yorkie likes the chicken and rice. I've found the shipping to be prompt and I like the packaging.

I am unsure of JFFD at this point. My pups love the meals especially the beef meal which my one dog is doing well on. My other pup a cavapoo, while she loves the lamb meal, i think it has too much rice. She also just recently vomited all of her lamb meal and was vomiting for 2 days. Is all the rice used as a filler to more expensive meat? In comparison to other fresh food services, I think JFFD is using way too many grains and not enough meat. The packaging could improve because i feel alot of food I can not scrape out of the boxes or the resealable packs and its wasted. Additionally, it is very confusing to use the website as far as an organized way for me to have each of my dogs profiles and an easy way to change their meal plan if i need to.
