STAY CLEAR!!! The boiler units DO NOT LAST! Our unit is handled carefully and only used for 2 steamings a day for an asthmatic horse. We had to buy a new boiler because the first one died. The new one leaked water into the compartment where the wires are and shorted it out. . . . and now you can;t find someone to sell you JUST the boiler unit! I'm furious! We are a small nonprofit horse rescue and sanctuary that has limited financial resources and we get stuck without a working steamer.

Product is good. Customer service is not! Left 2 messages as I had questions but neither phone call was returned.

My horse is a 22 year old Cushings horse with allergies! I decided to try hay steaming verses soaking...much easier and uses very little water. I can't tell you how great he is doing on steamed hay! He is not wasting a drop, I have reduced the amount of Zyrtec he takes. The Haygain Steamer has changed our lives. I love it and will never go back to soaking hay.

Awesome machine. You might think of incorporating a timer into the electrical system. It sure would make it nicer to use. Even my garden watering system has one for 20 bucks...seriously.

I am very happy and my horses more. I have two with a si tuve stomach an alergias . They are very happy with the clean Hay. Machine is easy to us. Wish it had an alarm clock and would stop on its own. You have to do it manually.

Wonderful! My HAYGAIN arrived within six days of placing the order. I have a mini with a mild case of heaves and his cough has been reduced by 90% and I never hear my Welsh pony cough. I now believe every equine owner should have one and there is nothing difficult about using one. I purchased the mid size steamer and now my husband wants to purchase the large one.

Our delivery was delayed due to supply chain challenges. Throughout the supply chain challenges, the customer service was exemplary, above and beyond. The empathy they shared was genuine. We felt that they really cared and were as concerned as we were. Once the units arrived, they initiated expedited shipping on their own and at their cost. Excellent service, wish more Companies took their product this seriously!

The hose attachment for our steamer broke from wear and tear from haveon to disconnect and store inside due to freezing temps. We couldn’t find a replacement part locally. Called Haygain and they quickly ordered the part for us. It arrived sooner than expected in less than a week.

My horse loves his steamed hay, so that makes the labor-intensive 600 worth it. If maintained as the manufacturer recommends, it adds at least 6 hours a week to my schedule. Haygain staff downplayed this aspect of the machine in order to sell it. Was not prepared for the level of cleaning & maintenance it requires. An expensive investment; I hope it lasts!

Shipped very promptly-nice to slow them down. However, our Connemara pony destroyed his the very first day-we were able to rebuild it, and we fortified it with rocks at the base, and that seemed to help.
