My sewing instructor instructed me to purchase these, because her sewing instructor recommended them to her and my instructor has liked and used them since. They seem to go under the "feet" better and better to pull out of fabric and pin cushions. I think that I'm going to give the older pins that I was using a break.

The nails were great. However, there were 22 per pkg rather than 18. Someone's making a mistake, to your financial disadvantage.
