I purchased an EGO S2 fishing net four years ago, and can report that it is, without a doubt, the BEST net I have ever used in my 61 years of fishing! I was initially very hesitant about laying out $100 for a fishing net, as most of the rods and level wind reels I use don't usually cost much more than that. After all, this net doesn't CATCH fish, it simply helps get them in the boat after I get them in close. I am happy to say that it was the best $100 I have ever spent on a fishing net. It's very versatile, and the handle length adjusts to meet my particular needs. I use one length when fishing solo, and a longer length when fishing with a buddy when one is working the fish and the other is doing the netting. Also, unlike some other rubber nets of lesser quality I've used and had the hook routinely sticks through the rubber basket material, the proprietary material EGO uses is super flexible but tough, and I've never stuck a hook in one. I've nettet approximately 600 fish in the four years I've had the net, and have yet to lose a single fish once it's in the net. Great product, and after the initial cringe at the price, you'll never look back!" By the way, I had a slight issue with my net after four years. I contacted the factory, knowing the two year warranty had long expired, and Grant Corbett sent me a replacement part in one day at no charge. You can't beat a company that stands behind their product like that!

Does what no other net can do! It is light enough to use when solo fishing and works great when trolling in the big water and a long net is needed.
