I recently ordered an OGA black belt and I gotta say, I'm impressed. The solid, heavy construction without being too wide is a big plus for me. It stays tied right out of the bag, and doesn't require a lot of breaking in for it to stay in a knot. I love breaking in a new belt as much as anyone, but it's much more fun when the belt can actually stay tied as you do so. I docked a star because the rank bar doesn't have as many stitches as my other belts. The stitching seems to be just a square around the rank bar, whereas my Gameness one has stitching all down the bar in strips. This makes me think the rank bar could tear in the middle and hang freely. However, knowing the quality of OGA, it'll probably be fine. People hem and haw about which belt brand is best, but you gotta try them all to know. Pick up an OGA belt, you'll be very pleasantly surprised.

I ordered a ladies gi ans it was shipped super quick. Sadly the pants were way too short. I had no problems getting a return order, and they were very helpful suggesting an alternate selection. I highly recommend this store!

Shipping was fast and gi was packaged nicely. I’m 6’3” and 230-235lb and very much a white belt in Jiu Jitsu this is my first gi. I ordered A5 gi as specified on the fitting chart. An A5 is Very Large. The pants could fit an elephant around the waist, length is great. Most likely I will be sending back the bottoms and possibly the top for a smaller fit. Hopefully The Jiu Jitsu Shop is easy to work with returns.
