Fast shipping, but wasn't packaged great. Just some taped bubble wrap. Top and bottom were completely exposed when it arrived - but it's a hunk of metal, so no impact and works perfectly.

Overall, pleased with the Maxjax people, and products.

High quality and great lift

The seals will leak and are not available through Danmar. In four years of home use, both pistons developed leaking seals. The seals are available at Lazzar's Floor Jack/HCRCnow. The lift has as much as a 3/4 inch rising-rate difference between the two columns. Max Jax indicated this is acceptable. The bolts need anti-seize because of the interaction of steel and concrete. Without it, the bolts will rust.

Great customer service and the max jack works excellent

The Max Jax order process was easy. The unit arrived at the shipping terminal as I had asked and the lift was installed easily and works as designed. The whole order/delivery and installation process was good. There were a few critical parts missing from the package but these were shipped quickly following my notification of their absence to MJ. I placed the uprights 91" apart and this services both my narrow cars and large cars alike.

This MaxJax unit has performed magnificently. I have used MaxJax for about 5 years, mostly during the first two. Raising a 2-ton truck up and down while I restored and installed new brakes and brake lines. I always felt safe. Now the advice I am giving next has nothing to do with the quality of the product, but two issues I had during and after purchase: Make sure the delivery service drops the product as close as possible to the installation site. Mine would not and I was required to haul the item nearly 100 yards to my garage. Make sure your garage floor is ready and meets minimum thickness. Mine was not, although it held up for two years until it finally cracked my concrete floor. I removed the MaxJax, cut the floor, poured 10 inches of reinforced concrete, drilled new holes and bought a new bolt kit. I also modified one post with two metal brackets to hold a vice and a small belt sander. This keeps my overall foot print minimized since now I don’t need to have separate stands for each. Again, overall my MaxJax has been a great fit for me that I continue to use regularly, my next project is completely resto-moding my 55 Chevy truck for which I will use the MaxJax constantly.

One of the best investments I've ever made! Pretty simple first time setup due to me boring the holes for the anchors. After boring the first 6 holes I switched to a hammer drill and what had taken half of the day and made a huge mess with water and concrete powder took only 10 minutes with the hammer drill. Lesson learned

I had some initial issues with 3 of the arm swivel pins not going all of the way thru the pin holes. There was a bit of misalignment where the 2 plates were welded together. Had to file down the overlap for the pins to go thru. Then found 1 arm stop gear wasn't dropping down to lock the arm.

Lift isn't a year old. Stopped working. Repair guy charged $700 to fix. The installer on your list to use. Should have been warranty. Lift still goes up crooked. Waiting on lift repair to inspect.

Had some shipping issues but MaxJax team resolved it fast. (Freight company mix up.) Customer service was awesome. Product set up went well and 1 month in, very pleased. Advice you rent a big boy hammer drill for the 5/8 holes. Makes install a breeze.

I was one of the first to get the new model. I have had 0 issues with it, no leaks, exactly what I was hoping for. I have a post-tension slab in the garage and had a company map the floor and show me where the cables were, that was about $200. I used AW ISO 32 hydraulic oil.
