Would not let me checkout until after several attempts. Could not verify my credit card. Then it could. Nothing changed. As this was time-sensitive, very frustrating.

Nice to buy from a specialty company

Art of play has the best selection of playing cards I’ve seen. Almost all of the decks have unique themes with well-rounded design and thought put into them. Other companies sell too many gimmicky and overpriced mediocre cards. The idea of mystery decks is also cool as it puts some excitement and true anticipation into ordering new decks instead of already knowing what’s shipping to your house. Speaking of shipping they pack everything so professionally that when your items are received they are in perfect condition. Just as well, I’m a huge fan of the black market sale they have going on. That sale garnered me some of the best feeling playing cards I’ve ever held and you couldn’t beat the price for such quality decks. As If all the card options weren’t enough, I am impressed at the amount of other items Art of Play has on offer. The eclectic feel of everything showcased is amazing and has brought me much inspiration for gift ideas that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I adore Art of Play and highly recommend it to anyone.

Art of Play has some wonderful and unusual products and the “hovering lightbulb” I ordered was very cool and impressed the recipient but, unfortunately, while the bulb did hover it wouldn’t seem to light up. AOP offered to send a new bulb, which may have solved the problem, but the giftee preferred a refund, which was arranged and paid for by them graciously.

I had to pay tax because I live in the UK, yet the site stated that there would be no tax if my order totaled less than £135. Not clear information.

Too near Christmas, I ordered a puzzle box to be delivered out of state. Fearing it wouldn’t arrive before the recipient left town, I contacted Art of Play. It was a quick connection to a real person who cancelled my order and refunded my payment within minutes. Later, as a birthday present, I reordered the puzzle box to be delivered. Again, I was late in ordering, however there was a two day delivery option. The present arrived right on time and the recipient thought I was a genius for finding such a unique and perfect present for her - a lover of puzzles, cats, and boxes!
