I have been using Q Cherry Bomb muzzle devices and Rearden Atlas Plan B mounts on all of my rifles, and I planned to do the same for my recent bolt-action gun purchase. However, I discovered that the threaded section of the barrel wasn't as long as those found on most standard AR-15s. This meant that I lost some threading area with the Cherry Bomb due to the rear tapered mount, which is designed for Q tapered barrels. Fortunately, the rear flat back of this muzzle device resolved that issue and provided better contact between the threads of my rifle and the muzzle device. It's a well-made product that I will definitely purchase again.
