The best razor that I have used leaving your face nice and smooth, a good size head that is not large with that number of blades, it is smaller than most 5 blade razors.

As part of my USA boycott I’ve switched to Wilkinson Sword. My only regret is not doing it sooner. An excellent razor which provides a comfortable and smooth shave.

Can't believe it has taken me so long to find a decent razor blade. I had a sample Hydro 5 razor for at least 10 years, sitting in my drawer and never tried it. As I used to work for P&G I had loads of Gillette blades I had purchased to get through. When did get round to trying the Wilkinson blade, I was dumbfounded to see how long it lasted and felt. As I'm a bit of a geek, I did a back-to-back test with new blades. Wilk. Hydro 5 Ultimate vs. Gillette Pro-Shield Power. Wilk lasted me 53 days vs. 18 for the Gillette. The gel on the Wilk. was there till the end, but diminished after 45 days. The gel on the Gillette was gone after 8 days! The trimming razor on the Gillette is perhaps an easier design (patented for sure) design, but I find the Wilk. trimmer to be better for side-burns. My test was done during the winter (softer stubble) and I shave each day as I have stubble by the end of the day. Impressed and no difference I could remember to the old sample blade I tried. Total convert!
