Best paddle I have ever owned. Very light and the 260cm is perfect for my wider fishing kayak. I like the locking system with all the choices as well. Definitely an upgrade from my old BB paddle. If you can’t afford one of the higher end paddles, then there are few others that compare at this price point.

Great paddle! I hadn't thought about blade area until I read your website, but w/ your advice I bought a paddle w/ smaller blade area ("Shuna") than I prev'ly used. My paddling is noticeably more efficient & faster -- higher RPM and closer to the hull. I briefly knew Werner Furrer in the late '60's/'70's, when I started kayaking, and I'm glad his company is in such good hands.

Love my paddle. This is my 3rd guide stick and I have been professionally guiding since 2003. They are light, have great blade size and length. It makes it easy to gain leverage in a back of the raft and the flex helps with shoulder and elbow pain as the season goes on. I would highly recommend!

This is my fourth Wener Carbon paddle for seakayaking, little smaller spoon than my others, little easeier on the shoulders after a day on the water. The bent shaft is very easy on the wrist. Personally thse are the best Paddles mony can buy. . . . period!

This factory second powerhouse paddle was superb in every way and it has been a pleasure to use already. The shipping was immediate and the communication about communication about availability and shipping was always immediate.

Glad that I was able to get a replacement for the handle that broke. But I am nervous that it seems identical to the handle that broke 14 months after I purchased the paddle. I didn’t use the paddle any more than the average person in the snow belt…hopefully the new one doesn’t break too (leaving me stranded in the middle of a lake!)

Buy Werner. Avoid Wenonah, which is not a quality product. Werner is!
