Best backpack ever.
I'm not normally a backpack guy--I've used messenger bags for the last 10 years. I like the convenience of backpacks but always feel like my stuff gets lost; the Bolt's bright gold lining is ingenious--I can always see what's inside at a glance. The Bolt strikes the right balance on organization; enough pockets to help you organize but not so many zippers and sleeves and pockets that it's trying to force you into a particular system. I got the black ballistic nylon with chocolate leather--very classy yet casual.

I love my new Cargo Bag!
I was hesitant to get the Cargo Bag because of the price, but it had the features I was looking for in one bag, so I caved and purchased it. Wow, the pictures online do NOT do it justice. You just have to see it in person. You really do get what you pay for. The leather flap is super high quality, not some cheap faux leather. The metal buckle clasps together with the most satisfying click. The padding on the shoulder strap is VERY grippy, which lets it really adhere to your shoulder. I didn't think too much of this feature before I used the bag, but it really makes carrying it so much better than most other bags. It stays put whereas many other bags tend to slide off your shoulder. Speaking of shoulder straps...the Cargo Bag does not have d-rings (I was specifically looking for a bag without d-rings). The strap itself is fixed to the bag on both ends. I like this arrangement much better - no tangled mess to fix before slinging the bag over your shoulder. I got the all black version - suitable for any business professional setting. But the bag fits in perfectly for a casual setting as well. When I saw the bag online, I was concerned that it would be a bit much for occasions where you're not dressed in a suit, and that the bag itself would be too flashy. Waterfield Designs has somehow managed to strike the perfect middle ground. I just took the Cargo Bag into both a professional business meeting and a coffee shop to meet an old friend, and I felt it was entirely appropriate for both situations. The waterproof zippers are amazing too. It's incredible how light and compact the bag feels. It has a thin profile - much thinner than my old messenger bag, which could get unwieldy at times. The zippered pocket on the front flap is awesome too. It especially came in handy at the airport. Going through security is a real pain, having to collect all your items and put them away again. Well, when the time came, I was able to quickly stuff my phone, keys, aluminum business card...

Beautiful, quality, American products made by folks you can trust!
I can't say enough about how satisfied I am with my experience with WaterField Designs. I purchased a City Slicker 3DS pouch, and the product I received exceeded all expectations I had of it. The quality of this pouch is apparent in each stitch. Each button. Each fold. The customer service here at WaterField also lives up to the tremendous quality of each of their products. The love and care that goes in to each of their bags is obvious. I guarantee you will not be disappointed in the purchase you make here!!

Field Muzetto
I love my new Field Muzetto, but it does force you to make some hard decisions about what you carry. Maybe that's a good thing; maybe it isn't. On the list of positives, the quality is first rate. It feels, smells, and looks like no other bag I've seen on the market, and it's incredibly handsome. In a rare turn among bag manufacturers, I've found the adjustable strap to actually be long enough for proper cross-body carry. Having a long torso, I've found it hard to find bag straps that make cross-body comfortable. This one is not only appropriately sized, but comfortable too. Well done. The bag's lines are clean, and fully loaded, it's still slim in shape and lays nicely flat down the body. On the negative side, I have little to say, but there are a couple of concerns. First, the pockets both internal and external aren't gusseted, nor are they particularly loosely constructed. This means putting things into the bag can end-up being something of a jigsaw puzzle as you try to stack thicker objects on top of each other or beside each other. My primary example comes from the pouch I use to hold my iPad Pro's accessories, including the charging bricks. Charging bricks are thick. If you have the iPad Pro in an Apple Smart Case with a Smart Keyboard, it's a reasonably tight fit into the iPad compartment. (I'm not sure how an iPad in a Logitech Create case would fare.) Then, you're essentially "stacking" on top of it (or in front of it, depending on orientation) the width of the charger brick. Now in the front pocket, you might have an iPhone in a case, or a Leatherman, or something else. Each half-inch that you stack on top of each other as you fill the bag not only adds up, stretching the limits of all the pockets, but it also creates bumps and lumps on the inside of the lining that you have to work "around" as you try to put things in or pull things out. Admittedly, I carry probably a little more than an average person does, but even then, I had to pull a lot out of my...

Great pouch!
Just got back from my first work trip with the large gear pouch, and I love this thing. It's really well designed. I'd even call it pretty! All the materials are great, and the zippers have a nice deep, reassuring sound when you work them. No worries about durability. The main compartment zipper has a sharp right-angle corner, making it easy to open all the way, or only the long edge if you're just grabbing something quickly. I use the smaller front pocket for a charger and a couple 6-foot cables; I have no doubt it could gobble up a couple more small things too. The main compartment is sized perfectly. It holds my Macbook charger with the extension cable, and a few other smaller items (I had a mouse and a small pill box; had I used all four inside pockets, it probably would have gotten unwieldy, but that's a small concern). Overall it's just the right length that I can stand it on end in my briefcase, sized for a 15-inch computer, leaving plenty of space in the bag for books and other things. If I put it in the bottom of the bag instead, that wastes a bunch of space, so I'm glad it fits vertically. Anyway, get one! I think it's just about perfect for organizing my travel briefcase, and you probably will too.

Bolt Backpack review
All in all this products can be summarized as a strikingly stylish and beautiful backpack that combines form and function in a meticulously refined package. As is the norm with Waterfield products -- the design, materials and manufacture is indicative of impeccable quality and bold yet careful consideration. I used to bring along a Japanese messenger bag on my daily commutes -- which with all of my carry on resulted in an melancholic and exhausting experience, especially for my poor back. The Bolt Backpack has since its recent arrival transformed my daily commutes to being more of a delightfully ergonomically sound, comfortable and less stressful experience.

Love it 😍
It's perfect for the magic keyboard. Not to big. Very slim and on trend. Excellent price. Has a side pocket for the charge which is great. Thank you... all the way from Toronto, Canada :flag-ca:. P.S. It came in a nice package great job from beginning to end!

Best phone wallet ever
I had a nice enough iPhone 6 phone wallet but it was billfold type - no zipper and really tight with cash. I pretty much stopped storing cash in it, and just pocketed it loosely. The iPhone 7 came along, and now this billfold doesn't work with the camera. I found the Waterfield iPhone 7 wallet to exceptionally meet my needs. The zipper keeps everything in, even when tossed in a gym bag. No iPhone case means it might survive past iPhone 7. Plenty of room for iPhone in a Pelican case, plus multiple ids, credit cards, and cash. Unless I'm getting something out, I zip it up and feel all nice and safe. Great phone case/wallet!

Was exactly what I expected
In 2011, I bought a MacBook Air Sleevecase from WaterField which I still use today. That was back when WaterField had an option for a velcro closure instead of the flap. The Dash Sleeve is a better version of that since it offers the same security but replacing the velcro with a much more clever and reliable elastic band. Since I got the iPad version, the pocket has thoughtfully been sewn to provide a secure home for my Apple pencil. I wrote more about my purchase here: http://terrychay.com/article/a-little-about-waterfield.shtml
