I came across Variant Actual purely by accident on my quest for good ‘audible’ Sci-Fi. I have been much entertained both by short stories and books in a series. I am just about to finish book 1 that starts a book series and the next one, book 2, is only available as a ‘bundle’ for a considerable sum. I am unable and unwilling to stump up the monies for two reasons. Firstly is that the follow-up book(s) may not entertain and secondly I simply can’t afford to do a once only payment. As a result I will not be purchasing. Thank you.
