Very satisfied with Vanguard products. The binocular harness is perfect, and a comfortable design. Their quality meets or exceeds any higher end company's and their customer service is top notch, even years later. They recently replaced the eye covers for my husband's 15 year old binoculars, that he lost over the years. They are loyal to their customers. There's no need to look elsewhere.

This is a very well-engineered piece of kit. It is solid, stable and easy to use. Make sure you tighten the U to its shaft, so it doesn't fall off. To adjust the height, loosen the knurled ring at the top of the legs, and simply lift the U to the desired height; the locking ring holds it there. To lower the height, lift the locking ring (right above the knurled ring), slide the U down to the desired position, and drop the locking ring to its lowest position; the U is now locked in the new vertical position. In all but the highest raised position, you can remove any lateral wobble of the shaft by tightening the knurled ring at the top of the legs. To carry the Porta-Aim U hands free, I slide a ring of rope up the closed legs and attach it to my belt with a carabiner clip.

Had to replace my stolen Alta Pro tripod so I went with the 263 AB. While I have yet to use rotating central column. The system is sturdy and expected to function with typical Vanguard quality.

Photographing space launches a pan head is a must. The PH-26 solved my need. It's smooth, lightweight works beautifully with my VEO2 265AB. In fact today I upgraded my tripod to the VEO2 265 CB I'm so pleased. I could use a new hat.

Just wanted to share the excellent customer service from Vanguard US and my experience with them. I had an Alta GH0300T pistol grip ball head stuck to my Manfrotto professional tripod (MT055CXPRO4) which I couldn't take-off despite all efforts. When I contacted customer service, Rachel came on line and right from the beginning she made me feel that Vanguard US is there to help anyway they can to get my concerns addressed. She walked me through each step of the process as outlined below to show her professionalism 1) She sent me the copy of product registration for my record. 2) Requested me to send the center column with the stuck ball head attached 3) She confirmed the receipt of the package and mentioned that she would contact me next day with the outcome; whether they were able to get the head off the center column 4) Next day she confirmed that her coworker Thomas was able to separate ball head from the center column. She also confirmed the shipping of center column and the new Alta GH-300T ball head as the replacement. She also shared the UPS tracking # 5) Once I received the package from them, I was anxious to see the center column first and to my surprise it looked like a new one - no scratches at all! THANK YOU, Thomas, for such a wonderful job, saved me around $150 if I had to buy from Manfrotto! Of course, I received the new Alta GH-300T pistol grip ball head (have been using for a while and absolutely love it for its fluid maneuvering capabilities it offers) Rachel - People like you make a positive difference to others life and any organization they work for. I recently purchased a Vesta 350A Spotting Scope. My main purpose was range shooting out to 100 yards. The product came packaged nicely and I immediately noticed it was rugged and well built. This kit came with a tripod as well and it is rugged and easy to adjust with a solid position lock. I initially focused on a target at about 200 yards and found the scope easy to adjust and clear, surprising at that distance to me. I then chose a target at 25 yards. Obviously it gathered significantly more light at that distance and was very clear and crisp across the entire field of view. I am extremely happy with the quality of this kit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality scope at a reasonable price.

I bought this little tripod and received it last week. It’s rock solid and I was completely surprised when I bolted it to my 70-200 lens with a d610 attached and it worked great. I have lots of mini tripods (manfrotto, JOBY etc) but they all struggle to any big weight as you would expect given their size. This tripod is smaller but made of metal with a strong ball head. Just buy it 👍 Con is that it will only work on a flat surface as legs all move together but I don’t think this will be an issue.

Excellent bag. I wanted something bigger than carry on size to transport 3 DSLR Pro cameras, tripod, lenses and a selection of other equipment that I need to have with me. This bag works well.

Bundle was a great value, scope is clear and contrast is good. The bag is well made. The tripod seems well made. Can’t wait to get it out West.

Purchased both a bag and a 265AB to fit into the bag. Very sturdy tripod and it is the perfect weight for travel and size to fit in the bag.
