We had been looking for a monitoring solution for our charter vessels. We operate small boats that are captained by USCG crew, as well as bareboat vessels that are skippered by the renter. In both cases, we wanted to monitor not just where the vessels were located, but how the engines were being run. Of course we also wanted to monitor things like batteries, bilge water level, access, etc. After reviewing several systems we decided on Vanemar. The NMEA connection was a big part of that, but also the simplicity of a built in Global SIM and a full wireless platform helped it stand out. Reviewing the demo mode of the interface further supported our choice. The system arrived a few days after we ordered. One thing that stood out was the "Apple-level" packaging and design. The hub and sensors are beautifully designed. While function is most important, it does go to the attention to detail that we found in the product. First I downloaded the app. Super easy. The hub installation was pretty straightforward. On the first vessel I installed the hub in the cabin. There was a 12v USB charger at that location, to which I was able to splice for power. The mounting was super easy. When you pick an install location, make sure the GPS antenna can reach a location that will have a view of the sky. This can be through a window, or through fiberglass. I was able to mount the antennal behind a panel, under the deck. (Fiberglass is invisible to GPS). With the unit powered up I did a firmware update and then began installing the wireless sensors. Smoke detector, motion detector, bilge alarm, temp/humidity and a door sensor. You will use the app on your phone to scan QR codes on each sensor and do a quick pairing process. It is a remarkably simple process and each sensor came up on the app as it got connected. Mounting each of them could not have been easier. Unit works great awesome idea to begin with for people not around the boat all the time but have a clear mind that any little thing would happen you’l get notifications. If I may suggest a camera would be excellent add-on to the system.

We use Vanemar's security systems in our fleet. The setup was easy, and the mobile application works seamlessly. Thanks to its wireless sensors, we can easily monitor water levels, battery voltage, and other crucial details for all our boats. The one-touch control and effective security modes make managing operations easy. The Geofence feature provides peace of mind. Additionally, providing access to our family, friends, and colleagues is extremely simple. We are very pleased with the convenience.

Although it said the product would be shipped within a maximum of 2 days, I received it on the second day. The packaging was carefully done, and the product was exactly as described. Installation was very easy. I set it up myself and started using it within an hour. Works great. I highly recommend it.
