The Salomon hikers are really comfortable. I ordered an 11 initially and foolishly wore them outdoors before I realized I needed a 12 in them. I’ve worn them since received and they’re lightweight, supportive, and comfortable.

Very quick responses from the customer service team. No hustle replacement for my Salomon Assault 2 due to some damage.

Lightweight and fast drying was nice But soggy feet suck. A Gore Tex Speed Assault makes takes the assured assault to the next level. Perfect for puddles and mud/wet grass. They’re low at the ankle anyway, so steam cruising may pose them a challenge. But the old Speed Crosses soaked through quickly on rainy even drizzly days. Thia new gen of GTX Speed Assaults solves that. They're true 3 season now up here in the NE.if you need the lightest, coolest and fastest drying for tropical/humid/hot environments go with the originals. But if you’re not sure what the weathers going to bring and like warm dry socks; Get the GTX SA’s. You won’t be disappointed. And as always US Ed literally Gears lightning fast shipping gets them there fast and hassle free.

Customer Service was professional, quick to respond, and helpful (even if it did not benefit them). My boots came in a few days after ordering. Boots were as ordered and for me, they fit great. I traditionally wear 10.5 wide (ee) size shoes. I ordered 10.5 as there were no wides in the 4d variant. They fit just fine!
