My Experience with United Foot Surgeons was okay. Staff was polite, fast service, however, nothing was resolved. I'm still having constant foot pain and the doctor doesnt know what it is. He suggested laser treatment with no diagnosis. Its worth a try, but I need more extensive testing to find out what is the cause of this excruciating foot pain.

Dr Ahn is wonderful. He's all about technique and time. Minimally invasive surgery is the only way to go. Dr Ahn gives you the time you need to ask questions and help you geel comfortable.

Dr. Ahn is informative and explains things so the average person can understand what is going on, but with the utmost respect. His staff is wonderful from the clinical assistants to the front office. I highly recommend his skills to anyone in need of podiatry.

I first started visiting for a nail infection. After a series of visits using a laser, the infection is just about gone! Dr. Ahn and his team do a great job.

I lived a very active lifestyle, which came to a screeching halt at the beginning of the year when I experienced excruciating pain in my feet due to plantar fasciitis, which didn't go away. After seeing previous foot surgeons, and being told there are no alternatives other than major surgery, I performed some research and found Dr. Ahn. At my first visit, Dr. Ahn spent a ton of time with me discussing my symptoms and thoroughly explained my options. I came to discover that having flat feet was the root cause of my problem. Instead of obtaining temporary solutions, I further discussed Hyprocure with Dr. Ahn and decided that it was the best course of action due to the minimally invasive nature of the surgery. Dr. Ahn is a master at the Hyprocure procedure. The first procedure itself took approximately 20 minutes, and the second procedure took less than 10 minutes. I was in and out of both surgeries in about an hour each after they bandaged me up. The surgery is quick and pretty much pain free. You feel discomfort in your feet for a couple of days and weeks afterwards, but it is like an ankle sprain, if you ever had one. As each day passes, the pain disappears.I didn't experience too much pain post-op, and was in a boot, then surgical shoe, and then athletic shoes in a matter of weeks. For the first surgery, I was in athletic shoes by the 4th week and even sooner for the second surgery as my body was able to adjust after the first procedure. Thanks to Dr. Ahn's ability to recognize, diagnose and recommend appropriate solutions, I no longer experience plantar fasciitis in my feet, and am able to continue my active lifestyle which I dearly missed. If it wasn't for Dr. Ahn's expertise, I would not be able to enjoy the little things in life, such as walking, without pain in my feet. I highly recommend Dr. Ahn if you have any issues with your feet and most importantly, if you are seeking minimally invasive solutions, as he is one of a kind.

I just got back from Dr. Ahns office and can't thank him and his staff enough!! Both of my bunions were so bad and after waiting years to have them taken care of, I am 100% happy with the results. Whenever I hear people talk about their foot issues, I tell them about Dr. Ahn. All of the people that work in the office for Dr. Ahn are GREAT! Highly recommend anyone to Dr. Ahn for foot issues.

I found Dr. Ahn's care and attention to be adequate but not especially helpful in my case. I am sure that he sees many cases of Plantar Fasciitis and that his recommendations can only do so much. I am overweight and I work in an industry that requires standing for 10+ hours per day. I am sure there is only so much that can be done in my case. He strongly recommended full orthopedic inserts, which I cannot afford. I asked for guidance on footwear but he gave little guidance. I ended up researching on my own and finding a good option that does help. Foot braces and inserts and stretching have been of little help. He briefly examined my foot and made note of the way I plant it, but did not elaborate on what that means for me. I would encourage Dr. Ahn to provide comprehensive guidance for patients who are not financially able to pursue escalated medical treatments. Specialist visits are expensive themselves and repeat visits are not financially possible for all.

When I went to the United Foot and Ankle Surgeons location in River Forest, IL, I really didn't know what to expect. I honestly had only seen an infomercial on tv regarding people being helped with the same or similar conditions as myself (flat feet, bunions). When I arrived for my first appointment, I was very impressed with facility, the ambiance and, the staff and Dr. Ahn. Dr. Ahn has a great bed-side manner (a very calming presence) but more importantly, he is very skilled and has a laundry-list of credentials. Reading about how he teaches the HypoCure technique for flat feet to other physicians and at institutions of higher learning helped put me at ease that I would be in good hands. The procedure was quick, relatively painless and even any post-recovery pain has been minimal, which is a testament to Dr. Ahn's skill. The staff is also very professional and RESPONSIVE! If ever I needed anything, they were always there with an answer quickly. If you're looking for a place in the western suburbs for foot/ankle issues that is skilled, thorough and professional, you won't go wrong choosing United Foot and and Ankle Surgeons of River Forest.

Dr Ahn is an excellent doctor, easy to talk to, he is very nice, gave excellent care, very patient and kind doctor. Provides good explanation of what's next in my treatment. I appreciated being seen on time. Everyone was very friendly. The staff at the office are very helpful and caring and the surgery was done at his very clean office. I had no problem with billing. Follow up after my bunion removed. Questions were answered and instructions were given. I feel so happy how my foot looks without that ugly bunion. I was very pleased with my experience. I would recommend Dr Ahn and this clinic.

I found out about Dr. Ahn on Channel 9 news last September. I've had bunion surgery on both of my feet and the second one done just last week. I couldn't be happier about the results and the outcome form both procedures. The less invasive procedure without screws/bolts is why I went to Dr. Ahn. I've recommended Dr. Ahn to co-workers who have told me their Dr.s still use metal to hold the bone in place. This less invasive procedure results in 3 very small incisions that I can't even see..I highly recommend Dr. Ahn. And, his staff are the nicest people you will ever meet.

So I am a review guy . I searched for a dr for my wife for her foot pain. While searching I can across Dr Ahn and nothing but great reviews all over. So I texted her at work and said I am making the appointment online. So easy to fill out and schedule online. Since I work for an EHR I want something electronic and easy. Once we got home I told her . She really wanted to go to the same foot dr as her mom and fought me on it . With Dr Ahn we were able to get in right away with the other Dr it was two weeks. I looked at her and said You are in a ton of pain you need to go . Fast forward She went today Dr Ahn was amazing . He explained everything in great detail and made sure we understood exactly what was wrong and his plans for treatment . Before he could close the door she turned to me and said sorry I was wrong :-) she was so happy we came . HIGHLY recommended.
