I love these notebooks! I got the small size and it is pocketable. The colors are bright, the pages and covers are sturdy-- I just wish there were more pages! Also, they are super responsive in the chat feature on the website!

The last time I bought a mystery pack, the books were saddle-stitch-bound with staples. These are a huge improvement (and I liked those old ones just fine) and look so clean and professional. I love them!

Ugly books are well made with quality paper. I chose bold colors to refine my sense of value--the best colors are invisible without respect for and attention to value within composition, even in/especially in sketchy and casual environments.
