Took this bag for 4 nights away and it met my needs adequately. Love the separate section for shoes. I also found it easier to hoist up into the overhead bin on the aircraft.

We bought two Travelpro cases (a carry on, a medium-sized check-in) for a trans-Atlantic airline trip. The carry-on cases we already owned were far heavier than we wanted. Also, they didn’t meet size restrictions that have come into effect since we bought them. Travelpro cases were recommended in a NYTimes column, so we took that seriously. We were very pleased with the Travelpro cases that we purchases; they are well designed and well made. We also liked the choices of colour. But I can’t report on any airline experiences with these suitcases since we haven’t taken the trip yet.

Very quick order cycle. Box packaging was itself incredibly sturdy. Arrived on time, and without any problem. Just love the lightness of the bag. . . a lightness that belies it's durability and excellent construction.

Maxlite 5 is a great suitcase. Same capacity as my old one, but much lighter. I saved money by packing it to the brim and not paying over charges. I had a slight issue with my order, but customer service resolved it promptly and satisfactory.

Rolling bag not recommended-does not easily roll

Needed something better than a soft bag for international travel with a couple suits, my wife’s dresses, shirts, shoes and accessories. It was great for travel, albeit not suitable for carry-on. 2 wheels only worked, but I’m spoiled with 4 wheeled bags. Held up well over 3 weeks, and looks like it’s durable enough to last well.

This carry on case is amazing! I can’t believe the amount of clothes and items it can hold! I travelled out of country for one week and managed to pack myself and my son into this case! It rolls well and I took it over rough terrain. Definitely worth every penny spent!

The TravelPro website is excellent for helping a customer determine the right luggage for them.

Was offered a discount and couldn’t apply it online. Then after spending a certain amount I was entitled to get another small travel pouch at a discount as soon as I added to cart it would revert to original price. Suitcases are great online service not so good annd needs improvement.

My wife and I bought Travelpro Maxlight 5 for our new carry on, although looks good and rolls nicely, we discovered it isn’t for us. We attach a backpack to the handle of the carry on and due to weight the travelpro tips over face first. It appears we will have to stick to a hard shell for that purpose. We are going to see if we can trade to a maxlite Air V2 standard size 23”x9. 5”x14. 5” Possible to trade ? Paul.vezina@icloud.com

Love how light weight the bag is compared to others brands of the same size. Sturdy, good looking and I expect it to be just as good as the one my husband uses.

I ordered a new suitcase for an upcoming holiday. The suitcase arrived in no time and it was just what I imagined. It is light but very sturdy looking. I haven’t used it yet but anticipate a smooth ride on my new wheels. I plan on finding some stickers to put on it. Even though it’s teal blue, it would be hard to distinguish it from the many hard sided cases.
