Eg. The most recent Redbreast Would be good if there were extras available in the following month
Really enjoying the whiskeys but frustrating that there is limited communication when I request an extra bottle or one of the other offers. Mostly the extras are not actually available even when I order immediately but this isn’t made clear and I just receive the one bottle.
Great whiskies
Always great products and a willingness to offer a varied mix. Prices are excellent The opt in or out system works well, but I would like to see a longer pause account feature
Outstanding sourcing of great whiskies. The price is sneaking up but you make it very hard to opt out.
Just received my Redbreast PX Edition. Definitely one of the best so far. Please Sir, can I have some more!😂🥃
Superb drop - smooth finish and the cocoa notes are excellent- another great Oloroso bottle. Never fails 👏👏👏
Just can’t get my taste buds around this one but. Looking forward to next month’s pick!
Couldn’t be happier with the quality of whisky I get surprised every month and I love it ❤️
OK, as a generic whiskey drinker, my comments are personal. I generally find Irish whiskies to be reasonably palatable. There have been a few that would not even work when mixed though. This whiskey is quite robust in its flavour and belies its 13yrs aging. I have only had one drink, but I anticipate quite a few more.
Stunning bottle with cracking contents. Malty, endless spice notes to treat the nos, a sweet balance, but a hint of salt and a mild smack of bitter that lends itself to the coffee notes. I really want to try a dram with two different things from my family: Austrian coffee cake (sponge with a coffee pour and a light layer of cream), and rich cake (a Christmas cake with Sri Lankan roots that has semolina, cashews, chow chow and a heap of other ingredients I chop up each year).
Fantastic mix of flavours that continue to dance on your pallet. Should have doubled up.
Had high hopes for this bottle and was not dissapointed. I'm a peat head at heart and love anything from Islay, this was a change up and one I would highly recommend. Rich in flavour, nice toffee/caramel sweetness with a pleasing after mouth feel and taste. Definitely one of the better sherry finish bottles i've had. Reminded me of Starward pedro Ximinez cask, but superior in my opinion.
TWC undersold this whisky. If this bottle was on the shelves, I'd be be touring Brisbane and buying them out. Is it to early to pick Whisky of the year?
Why why did I not double up. So smooth 10/10
What a cracker
Oh wow the Dunvilles Cigar Malt is sensational. The aromas on the nose are exquisite and the flavours on the palate, can't get enough. I wish too that I doubled up this month. You know when it's a great whisky when you dream about it. 😊
Really lovely bold colour and a great nose, but the flavour is overwhelmed by a harsh raw spirit taste that lingers on my palate. Not really a fan of this one.
Lovely drop, unfortunately the son-in- law likes it as well, so may need to source a second bottle soon.
It's been a while since I have had a GOOD Irish whiskey and this one does not disappoint. It's spicy and smooth, everything an Irish whiskey should be, would love to pair it with a nice cigar!!
