I chose to buy the Travel Tim alarm clock from Helpful Things because it was significantly cheaper than buying it from Action on Hearing Loss. The product is brilliant and works very well, shaking me awake on vibration only, without waking up the rest of the house. The customer service was excellent. I wasn't clear when I ordered it, how long it would take to arrive so emailed to ask. A director responded the same evening to tell me; a much faster response than I expected. I was thrilled with the useful information, unfortunately on a second occasion you had to refer me to phoning Doro direct, however it was only through the internet I discovered you so thatwas good.

I recently purchased one of the Doro phones for my dad and am very happy with it but on finding he didn't have a second BT socket required for the additional handset, Helpful Things proved they were indeed very helpful by accepting my request to return it and providing a full refund without quibble or hassle. Have received both units ordered and are up and running in my uncles home.We find them really informative and will hopefully assist him in his daily activities.Problem is that he has a habit of pulling plugs out of the wall when he goes to bed and forgets to replace them on a morning unless promped!

After a problem with an alarm device I feel I must praise the customer service for their prompt , courteous attention.The problem was quickly resolved. Delivery from Helpful Things is amazing. Ordered a clock which turned up promptly. It then developed a fault - no problem, they not only arranged to replace it but sent me the replacement first so that we wouldn't have to be without a clock. What more could you ask for?
