Slate 7 is a solid router. It took a while to get is setup as a novice, but I figured it out.

Order was smooth, shipping quick, the router is fantastic. I love it. Its fast and easy to setup. Make sure you have your static routing tables and mac addresses from your old router. The wifi in my house is stronger than ever before. MAKE SURE NOT TO UPGRADE TO 4. 8. 4 as your wireless radio power will be reduced. My only dislikes: 1- the power cord should be a bit longer taking into consideration that most buyers are replacing equipment that was already mounted, perhaps with set wire lengths as well. 2- the antennas should've been made to swivel. Can't wait for the Flint 4.

I bought the barrel 7 and it is amazing, I use it for PCVR streaming with slime trackers and it works perfectly with no issues

I was expecting the Mudi 7 to be back-ordered, but instead, I had it in my hands in a few days. Installation went smooth since I was replacing an Orbi unit that had similar hook-up: I only had to modify the power source and get antenna adapters.
