The first router ordered was stalled at amazon shipping without updates for weeks. I contacted gl-inet and they sent me a new router with GLS, which I received 5 days later. Excellent service by Amber. The first router is still at amazon with no updates since 16. oct 2025.

If you would implement this feature, i could replace my old Firtzbox. I bought a GL-MT3000 + travel case for holidays and business travels to connect my equipment to my home Wireguard VPN automatically. This gadget works like a charm! Just connect the router to the hotel Wi-Fi and turn on the switch for (a configured) VPN connection. No more security concerns if there's a man in the middle snooping the Wi-Fi connection. I bought this one directly from the European GL-iNet store. Shipping to Germany just took a few days. Package was sent in a transport bag. Used this little device for about two weeks now. I'm really happy with that product.
