I recently found Chemist Confessions and ordered 3 of their products. My main concern was blackheads on my nose! I just cannot get rid of them and I am 67 yrs old!! I have been mixing 1 drop of the AquaFix water gel with 2 drops of The Specialist Blackhead treatment. Salicylic acid does seem to work on these stubborn things but I can also really dry my skin as I alternate nights between the Specialist and tretinoin. I will continue to use to see if continuous use will help even more. If there is a better way to use the Specialist please share!

because I use a lot of layers on my mature skin I tend to notice some buildup on my nose; I started using this treatment to keep my skin very clear but this treatment tends to dry my skin out if I use it too often. I have not found the right routine yet. Clearly it is potent but it may not be the miracle formula I was hoping for. Nevertheless, I will continue to experiment, in part because other products of that brand are very good so I am confident this one too will help.

It is a very nice discovery for the price: a fluid and lightweight serum that does the job. With a mature skin I would not use it alone but underneath a night cream it makes a nice difference in the morning, leaving my skin more plump, and restored. I will buy it again for sure

This moisturizer has a stellar ingredient profile, but not for me for a couple of reasons. One, it's a little too lightweight for more than just summer. And second, I didn't realize it was fragranced. Fragrance in skincare bothers me because I don't really want to smell it all day, and sometimes makes my rosacea more reactive. Otherwise pleasant to use.

Great info about products before you even receive them.

I've been experimenting with these, and so far, I'm most blown away by baby steps. I have the most sensitive, rosacea skin and baby steps has been 100% irritation free as a weekly 10-minute mask and makes my skin look like glass skin and feel so smooth. I've never tried an exfoliant this good. The other two I haven't used as much because I'm so sensitive. Tried mixing gold standard into body moisturizer a few times for my KP but didn't notice any results. TBD on that one and the specialist (which I haven't used yet).
